He approaches Mizuha with a request: to craft a matching hair accessory, mirroring the one she crafted for Hanna. However, when she presents it to Tonari after class, his mistrust intensifies, spawning a protective instinct to shield Fushi from any harm she might bring.

Just as tension threatens to escalate, Yuki interjects, informing Fushi that Bon requests his presence. Fushi teleports to Bon's location without hesitation, only to discover that another entity has been substituted—a child forever playing on the playground.

Fushi guides the child to a secluded spot, leaving Bon perplexed but soon understanding the gravity of the situation. Fushi's resolve to eradicate the threat is tested when he summons a sword, only to waver at the brink of action. In a voice dripping with malice, the child stabs herself with the sword, saying, "Now you've done it."

The child's brother arrives to find her crying and bleeding, shoving Fushi aside and rushing away with her. Blind to the truck careening towards him, his sole focus is ensuring her safety.

At this moment of peril, a child with black hair halts time itself, wielding the same power as Fushi. From his hand, a rope materializes, whisking the siblings away while urging Fushi to forget what he has witnessed.

The following day, Fushi transformed into a wolf, his nose to the ground, tracking the boy with Bon by his side. They arrived at a nursery, where they found the child. The immortal asked him, "Are you the Black Hood?" They went to a café, and the Black Hood revealed to Fushi that he had become human. He had programmed his body not to retain memories of his past life once he turned fifteen, meaning he would only remember being the Black Hood for four more years.

He also disclosed that the Nokkers were still alive and infiltrating dead bodies. While Fushi had killed all the visible creatures, some had adapted and become so small that he couldn't sense them. According to the Black Hood, even he couldn't find and destroy them all. Fushi shouted at him, saying they needed to fight. The kid questioned him why everyone wasn't already dead, shocking him. The Nokkers had decided to coexist and were already doing so. They had utterly defeated Fushi and the Black Hood.

As he walked away with Bon, Yuki called out to Fushi. The boy had been hiding on a nearby table and overheard the entire conversation. He convinced Fushi to fight back, saying that the Black Hood was definitely hiding some new superpower or he wouldn't know so much.

When Fushi got home, he tried to understand what was different about normal people and the Nokkers. Yuki said it was love, but Fushi didn't fully comprehend what that was. To add to the confusion, Yuki and Aiko had different opinions on it.

So, the immortal boy turned into a sea turtle and swam to get a different perspective and reflect. By the next morning, he returned to the beach and laid eggs, wondering if that was love.

Soon, Mizuha found him sleeping near the eggs and laughed at him, finding him cute. He told her it was so he would know what love was, and she told him she could teach him. Fushi was astonished at her proposition and didn't answer. However, that made her cry, and she said the only way for her to stop was if he accepted. So, he agreed to have Mizuha teach him about love.
