Tracker – Season 2 Episode 10 1

The next day, Velma (Abby McEnany) calls Colter (Justin Hartley) with chilling details of Angie's kidnapping. A $50,000 reward has been offered for information leading to her safe return, and four men heard her screams as she left the bar. Three of them met their demise, including two members of a notorious biker gang and an off-duty cop. The survivor identified the killer as Benjamin Kinderson.

Colter's first stop is at the home of the suspect's grandmother, Ava, who is on edge due to threats from the biker gang to harm her grandson. Ava is convinced that Ben is innocent and did not kidnap Angie. She believes her grandson to be a gentleman, with violence not in his DNA.

Ben works as a security guard at the oil fields and only visits Wolf Creek to clear his head. If the cops catch up with him before Colter, Ava fears Ben will take matters into his own hands. Ben's mother passed away young, and his father raised him in the woods, teaching him survival skills and how to defend himself against threats. After his father's death, Ben joined the military and served two tours in Afghanistan, further honing his combat skills. However, if he did kill three men and take Angie, Ava wants him brought to justice.

Colter takes on the case and heads to the Wolf Creek bar. Ramona admits she didn't witness anything after Angie stepped outside but believes Ben took her. Colter delves into the security footage and learns that the sheriff beat him to it. As he's still there, the biker gang arrives, with their sergeant-in-arms, Ricky, unimpressed by Colter's involvement in the case. Colter tries to leave but Ricky pushes him, prompting a confrontation that is only halted when the club's president, Cropper, steps in to intervene. Cropper apologizes for Ricky's behavior and claims they want to find Ben too.

Ricky fills Colter in on what happened last night, but his story doesn't match up with the evidence. Ricky admits he was knocked out and didn't see everything. As Colter steps into the taped-off crime scene, he notices that the fight took place out back, not where Ricky claimed it started. The sheriff arrives just as Colter is in the restricted area and boots the biker club out of the way to speak privately with Colter. She asks him to leave, but Colter points out that her officers are searching in the woods - in the opposite direction Ben went. There are blood spots and boot prints that suggest Ben was carrying Angie away from the fight.

As the sun set upon Colter's footsteps, he stumbled upon a stranded motorist named Vic, whose car was in dire need of assistance. In exchange for a ride to the tow yard, Colter requested a lift back to the bar. Vic, with a hushed tone, warned him of the dangerous tangled web involving the sheriff and the bikers. But Colter's determination was unwavering; he vowed to delve deeper, promising to call if he needed a hand.

Wandering through the forest's dense undergrowth, Colter traced Ben's footsteps, his mind churning with questions. The forest seemed to whisper its own secrets, with booby traps and eerie carvings dangling from the trees. Suddenly, a woman's scream pierced the silence, and Colter's instincts took over. He followed the sound to find Angie, cowering in fear as Ben struck him from behind.

Colter regained consciousness in Ben's makeshift shelter, impressed by the skill it took to carve a death whistle—the very sound that had haunted him in the woods. Ben, a loner by nature, explained that he had intervened when three men were harming Angie. He had left them wounded but alive, and Angie confirmed his story, revealing that she had witnessed the bikers execute a cop outside the bar. The cop's truck was filled with weapons, and they had labeled him a "snitch" before making their escape.

Ben and Colter shared a bond as survivors, both raised by fathers who taught them the art of survival in the wild. Yet their philosophies differed greatly; while Colter believed in the goodness of humanity, Ben mistrusted everyone. As they discussed their options, Ben's traps signaled an imminent threat, and they raced back to Angie's side. Colter wanted to leave, fearing for her safety, but Ben was determined to use his traps as a last line of defense against any lawmen who dared to pursue them. Colter disagreed, believing that clearing Ben's name was the right course of action.

As they regained their footing and made their way back to Angie's van, Colter unveiled his master plan: to infiltrate the evidence locker at the police station and seize the incriminating footage while the cops were busy searching the woods. He quickly dialed Vic to ensure her safety while they went after the tape, and Vic was more than willing to help.

With unparalleled dexterity, Colter and Ben subdued a cop and snatched the tape from the locker. However, their luck soon turned as the sheriff caught them in the act. Ben skillfully disarmed her, but she warned them of the cameras, which Colter had already anticipated. He swiftly secured the footage and noticed a stash of $80,000 in the locker. He proposed they sweep today's events under the rug. The sheriff insisted that Colter had just acquired her first solid evidence against the bikers, trying to bring them down but not working with them.

Just as an intense discussion was underway, a deputy walked in, and the sheriff skillfully convinced him that Kinderson was not involved in their colleague's death. Meanwhile, Colter called Vic to discover that someone had informed the bikers about Angie's whereabouts. The duo had been taken to a bar, where Cropper, the president of the biker gang, took over Vic's phone and demanded the video footage from Colter. He threatened to kill Angie if they didn't comply.

Ben and Colter watched the footage in the van, confirming that Angie had witnessed the bikers' crime. The video also revealed Cropper's brutal act of killing his fellow bikers after Ben rescued Angie and left the scene. As the bikers exited the bar, Ben's death whistle created an eerie background noise as they inspected Angie's van. Meanwhile, Ben and Colter had set traps in the nearby woods, while Ben remained outside. Colter entered the bar and spotted Angie just as gunfire erupted.

Colter took down one of the two remaining bikers in the bar, and he and Angie managed to injure Cropper. However, Ben wasn't so lucky; Ricky stepped inside the bar with a gun to his head. If they didn't hand over the video, Ben was doomed. Colter informed Ricky that he had it all wrong; it wasn't Ben who killed the two biker prospects but Cropper himself, who confessed to doing so because the prospects were weak. Ricky killed Cropper and let Ben go, fleeing the scene as sirens filled the air.

The next day, Colter said his goodbyes, even handing over Angie's guitar that he had tracked down in a local pawn shop. In a fitting twist of fate, Ben was going on tour with Angie as her roadie. As they shook hands, Ben believed that in a different world, he and Colter would be friends.

Ben's grandmother thanked Colter and handed over a $50,000 reward, noting that Colter and Ben were a lot alike. "Whatever happened to you...or whoever...they must have done something right," said Ava. The episode 10 ended with the sheriff catching up with Colter and apologizing for stranding him in the middle of nowhere. Kinderson was cleared, and thanks to Colter, the case against the bikers was now strong.
