The fourth episode of Tremembe commences with Sandrao in her home, her mind reeling with the memories of her past exploits. Once, she and her crew of miscreants preyed upon their neighbors' children, kidnapping them for ransom. Sandrao, with a practiced ease, would orchestrate the families' desperation by convincing them to pay to retrieve their loved ones. But this time, the boy they had taken saw their true faces, prompting Sandrao and her crew to take drastic measures. Sandrao held the boy down, her eyes hard as she ordered a fellow teenager in her crew to shoot him.

As the inmates prepare for their customary visits, breakfast is served amidst the usual commotion. An inmate turns to Suzane, requesting her to be her maid of honor for her upcoming wedding during Christmas leave. However, Suzane is confronted with a dilemma—she has no address to secure her leave. During her visit with Sandrao, tensions flare as Sandrao asserts that the sewing machines found at her house are hers.
Suzane tries a different tactic, asking the inmate whose wedding it is if she could stay at their house. The request is met with a cold refusal, the inmate citing the expected influx of guests. Suzane's gaze shifts to a new target—the brother of one of the inmates, whom she had initially turned down. She spots Rogerio and Risatta saying their goodbyes and seizes the opportunity, accidentally bumping into Rogerio in the process. She coaxes him into writing down his address, promising to write and visit him upon her release.
Meanwhile, Acir hands over his notebook to Amaral, who is assisting him with the book. On his way out, Amaral runs into Odete, who queries him about his unexpected presence in the prison. Odete reveals that she is being considered for the position of Director of General Coordination. She boasts that once she takes charge of all the prisons in the area, journalists will be denied access—a chilling prospect that hangs over the proceedings like a dark cloud.
Elize's dreams are haunted by the memory of her husband the night before the hearing on the documentary. In her dreams, Marcos stalks her and shoots her, but in reality, she lies during the hearing, claiming that Marcos wishes for his family's forgiveness. However, her father-in-law is unyielding, refusing to grant her a chance.
Elize asserts that her intention for the documentary is to allow her daughter to understand her side of the story one day. Her father-in-law is adamant that they will never reveal their grandchild's knowledge of her. With the family unwilling to negotiate, the judge dismisses the hearing, stating that he will make the final decision.
Meanwhile, Suzane passes the college entrance exams and shares the news with the inmates. While some are overjoyed for her, Cassia dampens the mood by reminding Suzane that not everyone outside shares her enthusiasm; some still want her gone.
Later, Suzane provides Rogerio's address for the temporary leave authorization. When the permits are released, she is among the lucky inmates who leave their cells for the Christmas holidays.
Meanwhile, Earthquake continues to deal drugs in prison with the help of a prison officer. When the officer asks for a 50/50 cut, Earthquake decides to double-cross him. He forces Mariano to meet his dealer in college and bring the drugs. Gal, still reeling from being dumped, overhears their conversation and rats out both Earthquake and Mariano to the officer.
That night, when Mariano returns, he does not receive the special treatment he is accustomed to. The officer forces him to strip, and they find the drugs. Mariano is taken to the hole for punishment. Mariano was a prostitute who killed an elderly client during a robbery gone wrong, while Earthquake was a contract killer. Later, Mariano is transferred from Tremembe for drug trafficking.
Acir's book, a smash hit, has been published, and it's a game-changer. Despite the pressure to toe the line, he doesn't play it safe. Instead, he shines a light on the prisoners' heinous crimes, the law's indifference, and the shady deals that thrive within Tremembé's walls. He uncovers how Roger wove a web of lies to deceive the justice system, securing his release despite a century-long sentence. Acir is unfazed; all the confessing prisoners signed their stories away, giving him the green light to speak.
Tumura and Acir are summoned to stand in front of a judge to face the music about their book's contents. Tumura denies everything, claiming that while he might have submitted a falsified report, it was still analyzed by the justice system before granting parole. The judge issues an order: all copies of Acir's book are to be recalled and transferred to Pinheiro prison.
As the episode draws to a close, the prisoners granted leave prepare to walk through the prison gates, their families eagerly awaiting their arrival outside. Luka and Dayse are among them, patiently waiting for Cristian. And then there's Rogerio, standing tall among the crowd, ready to embrace the future that awaits him outside those walls.
