In the opening scene of Episode 2 of Turn of the Tide Season 3, a man named Billy Bob and a woman kidnap Eduardo. They place headphones on him and argue about their personal problems, which include a major client and purchasing land. When they stop at a grocery store, Eduardo breaks out of the car and runs away.

Frias' partner, Pedro, is a journalist who is conducting an interview with Brum, a mayoral candidate, for a profile. She claims that to break the crime cycle, they must target its roots, including vigilantes. Pedro defends the Night Vigilantes and argues that groups like them are born out of incompetent institutions that fail society. However, she is not interested in his perspective and kicks him out to hook up with Ian, who has now become the photographer for the local newspaper.
Rafael, Silvia, and Carlos are hanging out at Valentina's shack. Her license is being revoked under the name of tourism, and she is annoyed. Rafael is thrilled by the news reports on the Night Vigilantes, but Silvia believes they are playing with fire. Eduardo finally arrives and fills them in on what happened. They think he was kidnapped because of the cocaine, and Silvia has had enough. She wants out, but Rafael refuses, claiming that the Night Vigilantes are making the world a better place for their son. Eduardo and Carlos don't budge either, and Silvia storms off.
Rafael narrates that past trauma can never be forgotten. A flashback shows her mother's boyfriend scamming them and running off with their money. Silvia decides to take matters into her own hands. She sells the cocaine to Mike, the High Powder cult leader. She also lectures him for scamming people like her mother with his pyramid scheme. When he shows no remorse, she unleashes the neighbors who steal from him. On top of that, she uses that money to pay the debt her mom owes them.
Once the profile is out, Pedro rants that Brum is a liar, and Frias retorts that he is the one giving her a platform and making her relevant. They argue and end up discussing Mariana. Pedro tells her that her other daughter needs her, but Frias refuses to stop looking for Mariana.
Meanwhile, the boys stumble upon the brothel frequented by Lessa. Roberta, the madam, is acquainted with Rafael's father and indulges them with information. With the intel in hand, they devise a trap. They place an ad for a lonely woman seeking a man like Lessa. They then book a room at Roberta's and set up hidden cameras with Ian's technical expertise. However, they're stumped on how to pay a mainland hooker to indulge Lessa's kink until Silvia shows up with the leftover money.
In his leisure time, Eduardo hangs out with Bruna, who flirts with him. Their tryst is interrupted by two drunks who are revealed to be the kidnapper couple! They've been tailing Eduardo. Billy is impressed by Eduardo's charm, while the woman is exasperated.
Next, we see Eduardo revamping the boat he's bought. A flashback shows his dad, Jeremias, promising to bring Eduardo with him to the USA after he's settled.
Well, it's time for the trap. However, the hooker never arrives. As the boys panic, Silvia steps in once again to save the day but not before showing her displeasure. She covers her face and meets with Lessa, who has a golden shower kink. Once the boys get the footage, they barge in and blackmail him. He easily breaks, giving the name Cipriano Cruz. He runs an investment fund and is the one who took the drugs container three years ago. We see that Cruz is a skinny dude but a ruthless boxer who can easily take down huge opponents.
Back to our vigilantes, they're excited that their trap worked. As they head home, Ian takes a photo of them. Rafael narrates that this moment felt like they were light being born in a world of darkness. And that they would go after whoever took their drugs.
