In Episode 3 of Turn of the Tide Season 3, Ian aids the Night Vigilantes in leaking Lessa's sex tape, which swiftly becomes a viral sensation. The news reports that the Night Vigilantes have struck once again, and children and teenagers are spray-painting their logo everywhere. Silvia expresses her concern that the attention might ultimately work against them. Rafael, on the other hand, adores the attention and even sews the Night Vigilantes' logo onto his mask.

Silvia's concerns seem to be justified when Moniz orders Banha to capture the vigilantes. Eduardo tails Cruz, who operates a laundromat for money laundering. While Rafael pretends to be a customer, Moniz instructs Cruz to make the laundromat appear authentic, but Cruz doesn't seem to care. Unfortunately, Rafael doesn't grasp what they're discussing and leaves. Instead, he sets up a raffle to raise money for the young player who was recently scouted.

The story shifts to a young Carlos competing in a televised talent show but failing to win. A doctor offers him drugs for his old hand injury and asserts that he's not special for refusing them. Canina, meanwhile, belittles him for looking down on cruise singers and threatens him if he doesn't return. Silvia discovers this and adds Canina as a new target for the Night Vigilantes.

Plan A fails when Rafael tries to steal Canina's cat. Plan B involves Rafael and Eduardo attempting to shave Canina's chest with a cream that causes an allergic reaction. Canina begs the boys for help, but they instead torture him with it, leading to rumors that the Night Vigilantes poured acid on him. Canina tears up Carlos' contract and is forced to pick up trash littering the streets.

The boys are thrilled that they've become such a formidable threat. The news once again reports their vigilantism, with Ian even selling their masked photo to the newspaper. Silvia is upset because Ian had promised that the photo would only be for them. The boys don't care and decide to use their reputation to scare Cruz into getting their drugs back.

Frias is asked to identify a dead teen girl, but it isn't Mariana. She explodes and creates a scene at Banha's place, believing he's involved in the kidnapping. At the theater-bar, a customer gets rough with Bruna before she kicks him out. Eduardo arrives at the same time and is scared for her. He mentions Frias' rampage, and Bruna feels for her. She wonders what it's like to have a loved one disappear. Eduardo knows all too well.

In a flashback, we see little Eduardo anxiously awaiting news from his father, Jeremias, who writes a letter explaining his struggles adjusting to life in the USA and begs his family for more time. Another flashback reveals Eduardo in prison, plagued by nightmares of Fagnar trying to kill Silvia. He studies the law and uses it to his advantage when Badocha, the bluefin exporter/smuggler, confronts him for his lighter sentence, even the guards backing off as Eduardo stands up to Badocha.

In the present, Eduardo prepares to confront Cruz. Before the boys leave, Silvia shocks Carlos with the news that she has signed him up for a TV show that requires singers.

It's time for the break-in. The boys pick the lock and search for Cruz, only to find a mannequin in his bed. They split up, but unfortunately, Cruz takes them down one by one, tying them up and removing their masks. While Silvia waits outside, she spots a drunk couple sneaking in. They knock out Cruz and hold Eduardo at gunpoint. Flashbacks show that every time they try to kidnap him, someone shows up to save him.

In the present, they tie up Cruz and get Eduardo in touch with their boss, Bruno Frutuoso aka Badocha. He wants to kill Eduardo for betraying him to Frias and for humiliating him. Rafael quickly negotiates that they can get the couple way more cash than Badocha can afford. While the woman accompanies Rafael and Carlos, Billy Bob chats with Eduardo. Unfortunately, Cruz wakes up and starts strangling Billy.

Nearby, Rafael and Carlos claim that the whale barf being used as a showpiece costs 500k. By then, Silvia breaks in, triggering the alarm. She hits the woman and the Night Vigilantes run off, not before Eduardo steals Cruz's laptop. The woman kills Cruz to save Billy and they run off with the whale barf. The cops arrive and declare the Night Vigilantes as murderers, as their masks are at the scene of the crime.
