The sixth episode of Turn of the Tide Season 3 commences with the fervent demands of the islanders for Eduardo's release. Rafael is filled with trepidation for Silvia, yet she insists on accompanying him, weighed down by a sense of guilt for allowing Eduardo to take the fall for her last season. Together with Rafael and Carlos, Silvia don the garb of the Night Vigilantes and sparks a tumultuous riot in front of the station. The island, a tight-knit community, is abuzz with the knowledge that Eduardo is one of their own.

During the interrogation, Francisco confronts Eduardo, informing him that he will finally face the repercussions of his actions. He is not just a fisherman; he is a drug trafficker, a thief, and a violent thug. Thanks to Cruz's CCTV footage, Francisco knows that his friends are implicated and needs Eduardo to confess. Frias also revealed where the drunk couple was killed before her demise. He demands answers and doesn't believe Eduardo's claim that he was merely investigating Brum and Banha. Vigilantes often succumb to power and corruption, which is why Francisco strives to halt them.
Rafael narrates that groups can be immensely powerful. The protestors assert that they are all members of the Night Vigilantes; either the cops arrest all of them or none. Francisco's superior warns him that he cannot imprison the entire island. Cruz, the couple, and Frias' killers have already been identified, meaning Francisco cannot hold Eduardo without any evidence. He is released.
Moniz's bodyguard brutalizes Ian, who ends up in the hospital. The four visit him, and he promises that he didn't rat them out. They vow to uncover who did this to him. Eduardo ditches his vigilante board and is dismayed that he was sidetracked from his true goal of revenge. A flashback reveals Silvia visiting him in prison, pleading with him to drop his revenge plan and move on. However, he seethes that they did everything right with the drug container delivery, only to be destroyed. He desires to know who stands behind it and make them pay.
Moniz's bodyguard, after piecing together the clues, takes Eduardo to Moniz. Moniz reveals that he is the buyer of the drugs container, and Eduardo has indirectly helped finance the island's "progress." With Brum's "approval," they plan to build a port to usher in a new dawn. He also doesn't deny his monopoly over the island.
We see that Pedro had also taken Eduardo's tip and written an exposé on Moniz. However, Moniz has the newspaper in his pocket, ensuring it will never get published. He pays Eduardo for the drug delivery he made three years ago and asks if he wants to be a shark like him. As the hero of the island, Moniz wants Eduardo's influence and offers a team-up, demanding an answer by Friday at a gala.
At the gala, when Silvia sways Brum, the latter reveals that Moniz planned to make a fortune from the port construction. While the old Eduardo worked with drug dealers and criminals to better his chances, this time, he refuses. He observes how Moniz's plans have put the islanders out of business. Valentina shuts down her shack, and many have sold their houses to Moniz for cheap due to the high crime rates. Even Bruna has sold the theater.
At the fundraiser, when Eduardo is asked to give a speech, he goes off script. He shares that he created the Night Vigilantes because his Uncle Joe told him to do something important with his life for once.
Throughout the season, Rafael keeps proposing to Silvia, but she refuses as she doesn't believe in marriage. However, Rafael seems to be swaying her, and she does love him. He hides the ring in the cinnamon roll she is eating, and she almost chokes on it. She is amused but finally agrees to marry him. They get married, and Eduardo is happy for them.
However, they want Silvia's mom to take Nuno to the mainland so that they are not caught in the crossfire during the gala showdown. Her mom is upset but Silvia insists that justice is important. Fortunately, they survive, suggesting that the family will be reunited soon.
As for Carlos, he moves up to the second round of the competitive TV show that Silvia signed him up for. He is going to Lisbon for it after the gala is over.
The four conspire to subvert the staff, concealing firearms within the gala's premises. They also enlist several islanders who are part of the staff as temporary Night Vigilantes. Eduardo lures Moniz's bodyguard away, and a group of Vigilantes incapacitate him. They seize their weapons and return to the party. When Moniz invites Eduardo to deliver a speech, the latter hijacks the opportunity. He holds Moniz at gunpoint and exposes his corrupt practices. His words are broadcast live on television as the gala is a televised event. The Vigilantes surround the guests with their guns. Brum attempts to flee, but Silvia offers her a deal: if she turns against Moniz, Silvia can make her appear as a hero. As expected, Brum backs Eduardo's claims and falsely claims ignorance of Moniz's misdeeds.
The Capelinhos volcano erupts, prompting an evacuation order. The earthquake shatters the venue, and the guests flee. The police arrive and arrest Moniz and Brum for accepting bribes for her campaign. Our four Night Vigilantes escape amidst the chaos, with Francisco in pursuit. However, his superior demands that he halt the chase due to the widespread fire. The Night Vigilantes escape and arrive at Eduardo's garage. They flee via Eduardo's boat, watching the eruption. They laugh at how no port can be built now and that it must be God's will.
The story concludes with reflections on the Night Vigilantes' lives and dreams. Carlos dreams of winning a TV show, signing a million-dollar contract, releasing hit albums, and embarking on tours. He also wishes for gay love to no longer be a sin and for Father Antonio to be his boyfriend. Silvia aspires to raise Nuno while also becoming a top agent, representing the best Portuguese artists with Ian as her assistant. Rafael dreams of becoming a football player, winning the Cup for Santa Clara, playing for the national team, and, upon retirement, becoming an award-winning coach who turns down the best teams and coaches the local FC to championships.
Eduardo feels sad that he doesn't feature in their dreams, but they cheer him up by pointing out that it's because he will finally move to the USA. A flashback reveals that his happiest moment was when his father returned from the USA and stayed with him on the island. He decides that the USA is no longer his dream, and that the island is his home. They go swimming together, symbolizing a new beginning and hope for their future lives.
