Typhoon Family – K-drama Episode 4 1

Back at the office, Tae-poong receives a call from Mr. Baek, the truck driver from earlier. It turns out he kept one load of the Italian cloth due to limited space in the parking lot where Tae-poong had stored it. Meanwhile, Ma-jin meets with Manager Ha from Pyo Merchant Marine, exchanging documents related to the Italians for a fee.

However, a flashback reveals this was all part of a meticulous plan. A few days ago, Tae-poong sent the employees the savings account passbook left by Jin-young. Ma-jin came to the office to return it to Tae-poong, not wanting to take Jin-young's personal savings. It was during this encounter that Tae-poong and Mi-seon hatched a scheme to send Ma-jin with the contracts, with a twist - Ma-jin would inform Bak-ho that the cloth was measured in yards instead of meters, thereby concealing the 10% shortage from Bak-ho's knowledge.

When the Italians brought up the issue of the missing quantity, Bak-ho realized he couldn't offer a refund without it and decided to send the goods back. Tae-poong promptly showed up at his doorstep with the remaining cloth, offering it to Bak-ho at a hefty price. Given the looming logistics and shipping fees of returning the cloth from Italy, Bak-ho opted to take it, thereby acquiring more cash. With this additional fortune, Tae-poong visits CEO Choi and repays his father's debt.

Finally, Tae-poong and Mi-seon decide to visit Hongshin Company in Busan, as CEO Jung Cha-ran had once suggested. She warmly welcomes them to the city, setting the stage for further adventures and challenges ahead.

Later on, Mi-seon accompanied her to work while Tae-poong ventured into the bustling market. There, he encountered Park Yun-cheol, the astute CEO of a company called Shoe Park. The CEO unveiled a pair of remarkable shoes that were fire-resistant and immune to piercing from metal spikes. Impressed, Tae-poong was even granted a tour of the factory by CEO Park.

Meanwhile, Nam-mo and Eul-nyeo embarked on their own pub venture, serving up fried chicken and cold beer to their patrons.

When Tae-poong returned, he presented Mi-seon with a signed contract with CEO Park, eager to strike a deal for the shoes. However, Mi-seon's temper flared at his haste. Later that night, Cha-ran lured them out for a drink, and in his inebriated state, Tae-poong scrawled an apology in the sand. With a drink on her behalf, he vowed to grant her a wish someday.

On Christmas Day, Tae-poong was in high spirits. But when he arrived home, he discovered that he and his mother were being evicted due to unpaid rent. They gathered a few possessions amidst the confiscation and made their way out, eventually finding refuge in Typhoon Trading's office for the night.
