The sixth episode of Typhoon Family kicks off with Tae-pong recklessly signing a deal with the loan shark, Ryu Hui-gyu, even staking his very eyes on the line. Alongside Cha-ran, he brings Park Yun-cheol home, where he dons a Santa Claus outfit for his little daughter, Bo-ram. Thanks to the money Tae-poong procured from Yun-cheol, Bo-ram now has a hearing aid. That night, the family joins in celebrating the new year with gusto!

In the morning, Tae-poong shows Mi-seon the 7,000 pairs of shoes he's procured for their company. Mi-seon's anger flares up at Tae-poong's impulsive decision-making without her. But Cha-ran reminds her that Tae-poong has lost everything and is now risking all he has.
In the end, Tae-poong apologizes to Mi-seon and uses his "wish coupon" to win her forgiveness. However, he keeps his eye-stake secret.
Meanwhile, Jeong-mi takes up a job at a jeans factory despite getting cuts on her fingers and being generally clumsy at it. The job provides her with some allowance, which she uses to buy food for Tae-poong and even Mi-seon's younger brother, Oh Beom. Tae-poong returns to the office and realizes that Park Yun-cheol is missing. He finds him at a bus stop, getting ready to flee to a distant island where no one can find him. Yun-cheol suggests they both hide for a few years, but Tae-poong urges him to at least try selling the shoes.
Their team then creates a promotional video showcasing the shoes' durability. They send out VHS tapes, targeting foreign companies as Tae-poong believes there's a market for them in the US and Europe.
As Royal Invest Chemical approached, Mi-seon and Tae-poong were presented with an opportunity to deliver their pitch. After aiding them in their endeavors, Yun-cheol bid them farewell and boarded the bus from earlier. Meanwhile, Mi-ho and Nam-mo continued their romantic encounters. One evening, as Nam-mo dropped her off at home, he presented her with a gift of 999 paper cranes and Mi-ho returned the gesture with a kiss on his cheek.
The following day, Royal Invest Chemical made a call to Typhoon Trading, announcing their intention to take the deal. Tae-poong was overjoyed at finally selling something for the first time. At the office, Bae Song-jung now contributed to the work in exchange for using the computer. It was time for the shoes to be shipped, but Cha-ran and Tae-poong suddenly learned that the shipping company was refusing to load their goods.
Apparently, Pyo Hyun-jun had spread lies about the company and had them blacklisted. In a fit of rage, Tae-poong took one of the shoes and used it to break a window on Hyun-jun's car. He threatened to harm Hyun-jun if he continued his mischief. Later that night, he got drunk with Cha-ran, only to be surprised by the return of Park Yun-cheol!
They returned to Cha-ran's office where Ryu Hui-gyu was waiting for them. He knew all about the shipping issue and issued a warning to Tae-poong, saying his eyes would be his in a month's time. Unfortunately, Mi-seon overheard this exchange and stormed off, followed by Tae-poong. She chastised him for being too emotional and mixing personal matters with his duties as a CEO. He responded by saying that he couldn't ignore someone who needed his help, particularly Park Yun-cheol in this case.
The two of them then spoke to the captain of a shipping boat and asked if he would transport their goods to Mexico, determined to overcome any obstacle in their path to success.
