In the seventh episode of "Typhoon Family," Tae-poong and Mi-seon's quest for a Mexican shipment of shoes reaches a comedic peak when they approach a captain, only to be met with a salt-throwing response. With the deft intervention of Cha-ran, Tae-poong finds himself in a position to re-establish contact with the ship's former friend and captain, whose name is revealed to be Park Yun-cheol.

Yun-cheol, burdened by a sense of obligation towards Tae-poong, offers to deliver the shoes himself, though the price is two years away from his cherished daughter. Tae-poong, ever the resourceful one, takes on the task of loading the shoes onto the ship. With the assistance of the local fisherwomen, he cunningly conceals his precious cargo among the seafood, ensuring it passes unnoticed.
As the ship prepares to depart, a hitch in the plan emerges when the police arrive on the scene, having received a tip about smuggling. The cops thoroughly inspect the crew and cargo, their attention averted only by Tae-poong's improvised distraction: a flour bag ripped open on a small boat, creating a convincing spectacle of "drugs." The larger ship is allowed to sail away while the ruse keeps the police occupied.
Ryu Hui-gyu and Pyo Hyun-jun arrive in their own vessel, threatening Tae-poong once again but sparing his life out of a desire for his money. As Tae-poong finally steps back onto land, he is greeted with a warm embrace from Mi-seon, who had been worried sick. As they walk away, Tae-poong declares his feelings for Mi-seon, painting a heartwarming moment in their relationship.
Meanwhile, we see the struggles of the former Typhoon Trading employees at the sewing shop. Jeong-mi has improved greatly in her job and even wins over Mi-ho's heart by offering her help. The episode concludes with a mix of humor, suspense, and heartfelt moments that add depth to the characters and their journeys.
In the bustling city of Busan, Tae-poong triumphantly bestows Ryu Hui-gyu with his hard-earned cash, retrieving the debt agreement in the process. Meanwhile, Hyun-jun receives a stern lecture from his father for losing his shoes to Tae-poong's mischief. Back in Seoul, Tae-poong and Mi-seon embark on a quest to discover a new product to sell, their minds abuzz with possibilities.
Jeong-mi, on the other hand, finds herself at a gold collection drive, patiently waiting in line to part with her wedding ring. That evening, Tae-poong catches up with Yun-seong, who surprises him with a brand new helmet from the factory where he works. As a token of appreciation, Tae-poong gifts Yun-seong a pair of safety shoes, unaware that both friends had secretly tucked small wads of cash into their gifts.
As Tae-poong confides in Mi-seon his desire to sell the helmet, they are visited by Cha Seon-taek, who hints at seeking assistance from Go Ma-jin. That night, Tae-poong meets Ma-jin and invites him to rejoin the company. Leaving the helmet with Ma-jin, he asks him to return it to the office the next day. Sure enough, Ma-jin returns the following day, accompanied by two other men, ready to lend their support to Tae-poong's endeavors.
