In the eighth episode, the Typhoon Trading team's meeting with the employees of Kangseon Helmet, Kim Jeong-hyeon and Bae In-ho, sets the stage for a potential deal. They demonstrate the helmet's durability and express their interest in collaborating. As they depart, the team delves into the topic of export destinations, given Kangseon's already established trade in several countries. Tae-poong suggests Thailand, citing its high purchasing power and recent two-year-old helmet-wearing law as favorable conditions for entry. Ma-jin then suggests finding a "middleman" in Thailand, akin to their own business model.

They reach out to Sawaddee Trading, operated by a Korean man named Go Ma-yong, Ma-jin's second cousin. Ma-yong exhibits interest and requests a sample. After the call, Ma-jin advises Mi-seon to stick to bookkeeping, implying that women are not typically involved in sales. Mi-seon bravely responds that she will let her work speak for her.

While assisting Tae-poong with his belongings, Nam-mo discovers he is living at Mi-ho's house. He also catches a glimpse of her without makeup, which sets the stage for a revealing night and a sneaky encounter with Mi-ho after everyone has fallen asleep.

As the team receives their Thailand visas, they are warmly welcomed by Go Ma-yong in Thailand. However, Ma-jin neglects to properly introduce Mi-seon. Ma-yong shows them to a modest workspace and guesthouse, and the conversation shifts to networking opportunities, including meeting influential people through clubbing.

When Mi-seon expresses her desire to accompany Ma-yong to the port and customs office the next day, Ma-jin reiterates her previous advice to stay out of it. Mi-seon politely excuses herself, and Tae-poong follows suit to ensure she eats before bedtime.

She implores him to cease displaying excessive care towards her, asserting that it only exacerbates the situation. He retorts that this stems from her own insecurity, fearing she is not good enough.

In the morning, the quartet sets out for Lamchaya Port, tensions between Mi-seon and Ma-jin still simmering. As Tae-poong takes a tour of the port, Ma-jin meets with Arthit, an official at the customs office. He instructs Mi-seon to stay back and presents Arthit with a box of cigarettes, which he obtained at Ma-yong's suggestion, slipping in some cash as well. This only fuels the growing argument between Mi-seon and Ma-jin.

Upon their return, Tae-poong orders his team members to join him at the club that night, despite their reluctance. The lady working at the guesthouse presents Mi-seon with a beautiful dress and Tae-poong gifts her a pretty bracelet to match. He starts to say something but stops when Ma-jin arrives.

Ha-neul, Ma-yong's son, escorts them to a fancy club with live singers where Ma-yong has secured a table for them. He points them towards Nicha, a young woman who is the daughter of the chairman of Nihakham Group.

Nicha strikes up a conversation with him and even convinces him to sing on stage. As he sings, he notices Mi-seon getting up and leaving. She sits by the poolside, nursing a shoebite. Tae-poong soon finds her and ties a kerchief around her ankle. She admits that she feels like she wasted her money coming all this way.

Tae-poong tells her to stop trying so hard to prove her worth, as he already knows it. Since she missed part of his song, he sings the rest for her again.

When they return to the guesthouse, the team is shocked when Thai police arrive and arrest all three of them. At the police station, a policeman informs them that they have been arrested for bribing the customs officer. They present a picture of Ma-jin from CCTV footage and drag him away while Mi-seon and Tae-poong try to protest.
