He shares with her a poignant dream about Sarah, claiming that she had asked him not to die on their daughter's wedding day. He insists that the wedding should proceed, whether he is there to witness it or not.

Later, Everett asks Vernon for a favor, entrusting him with a song from his notebook to pass to Mel. Meanwhile, Hope inadvertently complicates matters for Vernon by confronting Dr. Hayes, ultimately revealing that Denny is an undergraduate. Vernon, frustrated, snaps at her, accusing her of always going too far. His words sting, but he stubbornly refuses to apologize.

With Everett's blessing, Hope calls Lizzie, spreading the joyful news that the wedding is back on. Lizzie and the team spring into action, working tirelessly to ensure that everything is perfect for the big day.

As Mel and her bridesmaids arrive at the barn, they are awestruck by the grandeur of the reception awaiting them. Hope's surprise hire of a videographer captures every candid moment, catching Mel completely off guard. The guests trickle in, setting the stage for an evening filled with emotions. Brie's astonishment knows no bounds when Brady arrives, accompanied by Lark. Her confrontation with Brady spills into a heartfelt confession of their enduring love, unaware that Lark, overhearing their intimate exchange, is left wounded and heartbroken.
