The narrative of Watson's Episode 10 unfolds with an intriguing entrance by Cameron Phipps, a man beset by peculiar afflictions. His "alien left hand," seemingly possessed of its own volition, poses a medical mystery with a drastic solution: amputation. Eight surgeons have already declined to perform the operation, and Watson delicately reinforces the slim chances of finding a willing surgeon. As Shinwell escorts Cameron out, their paths cross with Moriarty's agent, who subtly takes a hair sample from Shinwell and hints at a broader mission—gathering DNA from the entire team. The motive remains shrouded in mystery for now.

Watson – Season 1 Episode 10 1

In the lab, Dr. Derian's desperate attempts to salvage her career are momentarily halted by Cameron's emergency admission to the ER. He has suffered burns from hydrochloric acid, an act orchestrated by his rebellious hand, against his will. This bizarre turn of events sparks Watson's curiosity, prompting him to involve the team in seeking a resolution.

Watson proposes a novel approach: a partial amputation designed to numb the nerves in Cameron's hand, preserving some mobility. The rarity of the condition makes the procedure fraught with uncertainty. Despite the initial injections, the hand defies control, choking Cameron when he mentions his father and tragically pushing his brother into the path of a bus.

Amidst this turmoil, Lubbock strives to reach out to Derian, emphasizing their friendship and offering support, yet she too is grappling with her own challenges—blackmail threatening to derail her career.

Cameron's prognosis appears grim, but Watson remains steadfast in his belief that they can turn the tide before the trial. Enter Dr. Choi, an expert who plans to perform Selective Peripheral Topographic Neurolysis. Just as hope begins to stir, Cameron's mother arrives with a bombshell: his father, battling heart issues in the ICU, has also undergone numerous iterations of lab-grown meat as part of his failed business ventures. Moreover, Cameron harbors unresolved issues with his father.

This revelation adds another layer of complexity to an already tangled web of medical intrigue and personal drama.

Watson harbors a suspicion that there's more to Damian's demise than meets the eye and meticulously scrutinizes the traffic footage from the fatal incident. In the video, he catches Cameron glancing to his left before shoving his brother, almost suggesting a premeditated act. However, whether this behavior was partly influenced by Alien Hand Syndrome remains a mystery.

As the gang delves into various theories, Shinwell grapples with his own role in this intricate saga. Should he hand over the DNA to Moriarty? Instead, he concocts a plan to deceive Moriarty by delivering a fake DNA sample.

Regarding the DNA, Watson proposes an intriguing theory: Cameron might possess a "Milkman Gene," a genetic anomaly predisposing individuals to impulsive actions. If this trait was inherited from his father, John, who has an astonishing 36 children out of wedlock, the pattern becomes clearer. Cameron, unaware of his father's widespread progeny, finds himself mired in a financial quagmire. He owes a colossal amount of money and realizes that the $300 million inheritance, split with his brother, is insufficient to extricate him from his predicament.

Driven by desperation, Cameron exploits Alien Hand Syndrome to attempt to secure the entire inheritance for himself. Seemingly a brilliant plan, until he learns about his father's 36 other offspring, rendering his scheme utterly futile.

With the case unraveling, Derian finally confides in Lubbock, disclosing that her father is gone and acknowledging their friendship. She reveals that her father's absence is permanent because he's the one who caused Gigi's accident. She's harbored this secret for 15 years, along with the details of the blackmail.

That night, Shinwell deposits the DNA with Moriarty's agent, leaving the fate of everyone involved hanging in the balance.
