Wednesday – Season 2 Episode 6 1

We are transported back to the aftermath of the Hyde attack at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday, accompanied by Morticia, Gomez, and Enid, convenes with Dort and the Sheriff. The Sheriff's eyes widen in disbelief upon learning that Francoise, Tyler's mother, is still alive, leaving the town with two Hydes lurking about.

Morticia unveils her pact with Francoise, leaving the Sheriff uncertain about the Hydes' departure. Dort, however, refocuses the discussion on the impending gala. Believing the Hydes have vanished, he considers their predicament resolved and shifts his attention to salvaging the gala, imposing a school-wide curfew.

Later, Weems reproaches Wednesday for her latest mishap, emphasizing that the vision remains unchanged, with Enid still in peril. To reclaim her psychic prowess, Wednesday must mend her strained relationship with Morticia. Her abilities, intricately tied to familial ties, also hinge on emotional clarity. Wednesday rejects this notion, prompting Weems to label her the weakest link.

Professor Orloff interrupts their conversation, prompting Wednesday to inquire about Francoise. The professor reveals that Francoise had a brother named Isaac, whom he lauds as the most ingenious protégé of DaVinci and Augustus. Isaac's genius extended to designing Prof Orloff's life support system, enabling him to survive.

Orloff continues, noting that Isaac was indifferent to people, consumed solely by science. Tragically, Isaac perished in a lab explosion, though his body was never recovered, adding an eerie twist to his tale.

On a fateful day, Wednesday pays an insistent visit to Pugsley, demanding an exhaustive account of his unusual zombie pet. Pugsley confides in her, revealing his encounter with Isaac at Pilgrim World and his role in aiding Isaac's escape. He produces a picture of Francoise, inadvertently left behind by Isaac, which Wednesday promptly instructs Agnes to scrutinize, realizing Isaac's quest is to find his sister.

Elsewhere, Tyler awakens to find himself tethered to a bed, his mother justifying this drastic measure as necessary. Despite his initial defiance, Tyler eventually submits to his confinement. However, an unnoticed moment reveals his mother turning away, stealthily coughing up blood.

At school, Enid weaves a tale to Bruno, shrouding the previous night's events in secrecy. She notices the frequency of his mother's calls but Bruno remains tight-lipped about his familial strife. Capri interrupts their conversation, seeking a private word with Enid, voicing her apprehension that Enid might be an Alpha.

Meanwhile, Wednesday seeks the wisdom of her grandmother, pleading for assistance in restoring her psychic prowess. Hester introduces her to the legend of Rosaline Rotwood, a fabled raven once resident in the very cottage occupied by the Addams family in Nevermore. Though Rosaline has passed, a spell inscribed on her headstone holds promise. If recited by a raven, it might temporarily restore Wednesday's sight. Hester cautions Wednesday to proceed with caution.

Defying the imposed curfew, Wednesday ventures into the cemetery to inspect Rosaline's grave. Enid, anxious to avoid dormitory punishment and the subsequent miss of the gala, endeavors to dissuade her. Wednesday remains deaf to her pleas until Thing arrives, informing Enid of Capri's door-to-door inquiries.

Enid hastily searches for Wednesday, intent on hauling her back just as she recites the inscription, summoning Rosaline's spirit. Rosaline warns that Wednesday's arrogance could spell her undoing. Wednesday, seeking temporary sight, learns of a ritual's necessity but is forewarned of dire consequences should the ritual be interrupted. Unfortunately, Enid's timely arrival to rescue Wednesday disrupts the vision, leaving her hanging on the precipice of revelation.

Both girls lose consciousness and awaken the following morning to the astonishing realization that they have exchanged bodies. Weems informs Wednesday of her breach of the Raven's piercing gaze, laying out a dire ultimatum – they have precisely 24 hours to rectify the situation. Enid panics, whereas Wednesday remains collected, instructing Enid to maintain a discreet profile, an endeavor that proves far from effortless.

By dawn, Enid comes to terms with Wednesday's genuine allergy to color. Morticia, offering assistance with a remedy, senses something amiss. Meanwhile, at Judi's residence, Isaac brutally dispatches her and progressively regains his human form. He returns to Galpin's abandoned house, uncovering a clandestine entrance to the basement where he reunites with Francoise and Tyler. Isaac confides in them his ongoing quest to redeem Francoise from her Hyde persona.

Despite Augustus' misuse of Isaac's machine to bestow abilities upon normals, Isaac remains confident in his ability to rectify it. He has already procured Judi's card and intends to infiltrate Willow Hill to retry the experiment. However, he first needs to visit Nevermore. Tyler, though hesitant about the plan, agrees out of a desire to save his mother.

As the day progresses, Wednesday and Enid's peculiar behaviors escalate. Capri encounters Enid in the music room, reigniting the conversation about the Alpha. Wednesday is stunned to discover that her closest friend has been harboring such a monumental secret. On her way out, Wednesday catches sight of Rosaline's portrait, reminding her of her grandmother's revelations.

She ventures to the cottage and rummages through Rosaline's belongings in the séance room. Upon stumbling upon Morticia's books, she wonders when her mother began writing them. Rosaline's apparition materializes, warning her that she has until dawn to uncover the deepest secret of Enid's life if she wishes to survive. When Morticia finds Enid snooping around, she assumes Wednesday has sent her on an errand.

In the dormitory, Thing informs Enid about a support group he plans to attend. As ever, Enid offers her unwavering support. She decides to peruse Wednesday's novel but is deeply hurt and disappointed by how she is portrayed. In a fit of hurt, she seeks revenge against Wednesday by donning a colorful outfit and dancing provocatively in front of the entire school. She collapses from an allergic reaction, but everyone captures the embarrassing moment on video.

Elsewhere, Wednesday overhears Bruno conversing with his girlfriend from afar and decides to end their relationship. Agnes visits to check on Wednesday and notices her unusual demeanor. She brings up the breakup and Wednesday's premonition, adding to the intriguing tapestry of events unfolding around her.

Enid is taken aback to discover the extent of Wednesday's secrets, unleashing her fury onto Agnes in a burst of anger that shatters her heart. This悲痛 event prompts Agnes to seek solace in the same support group attended by Thing. She confides in the group, voicing her ache that she feels invisible at Nevermore. Thing, on the other hand, opens up about his longing to uncover his mysterious past. Professor Orloff's words of encouragement serve as a beacon of hope, lifting the spirits of the entire group.

At dinner, Enid struggles to stomach the Addams family's bizarre cuisine. Gomez and Morticia confront their children about their deceit, prompting Pugsley to confess about Isaac. A wave of concern washes over Morticia as she fears Wednesday may have lost her sanity. She senses another presence and compels Weems to reveal herself.

Weems uncovers the astonishing truth: Enid and Wednesday have swapped bodies and are in grave danger, yet they cannot intervene as it is a dilemma the girls must resolve themselves. With a stern command, Morticia orders Enid to free Wednesday from the Lupin cages and rectify the situation.

Back at Nevermore, Isaac visits Professor Orloff and retrieves the life-sustaining power source. In a chilling turn of events, he consumes the professor's brain, leaving Agnes horrified and invisible, untouched by Isaac's gaze. She tails Isaac, who meets with Tyler and Francoise, and stealthily hides in the trunk of their car, where she discovers Judi's lifeless body. With trembling hands, she contacts Enid, spilling the beans and revealing her whereabouts.

Realizing Isaac is heading back to Willow Hill, Wednesday and Enid race against time to rescue Agnes. Tyler, sensing Agnes's presence, captures her just as the experiment to save Francoise commences. Tyler is heartbroken that his mother views his Hyde form as a curse, yet he is determined to save her at any cost.

Wednesday and Enid burst in to save Agnes, with Wednesday, still trapped in Enid's body, transforming into a wolf. She nearly claws Tyler to death until Francoise intervenes, preventing her from fully embracing her Hyde nature. The girls narrowly escape just before the lab erupts in flames.

Following this harrowing ordeal, Agnes breathes a sigh of relief, grateful that her friends' bodies have been swapped. Wednesday and Enid return to Rosaline's grave, where they share the secrets they've uncovered about each other. Wednesday reveals her fear of disappointing her mother, while Enid admits her dread of solitude. They also highlight the strengths they've discovered in each other and finally revert to their rightful bodies.

Weems materializes once more, warning Wednesday that the premonition has shifted. She informs her that her actions have jeopardized an Addams' life, leaving a haunting question lingering in the air: Which Addams will meet their fate?
