Elsewhere, Daniel persists in his quest to locate Emily, the American singer he personally chose for his girl group. Meanwhile, in a separate scene, an elderly woman, a mirror image of Mal-soon, dines with the enigmatic "man in the yellow shirt," adding another layer to the intriguing tapestry.
Mal-soon's wanderings lead her to Royal Salon, a bar steeped in nostalgia, where she once belted out tunes for college students who frequented the establishment. It was within these walls that she honed her guitar skills under the tutoring of a male student. As she pushes open the door, she is taken aback by the bar's modern transformation and further astonished to witness Ha-na performing on stage. As Ha-na exits, Mal-soon introduces herself cleverly, weaving a tale of being the granddaughter of Ha-na's grandmother's rural friend, a bond that spans generations yet remains untarnished by time.
