In the fifth episode of "Wind Breaker," Team Bofurin, comprising Sakura, Suo, Umemiya, Hiragi, and Sugishita, accompanied by Nirei for backup, ventures into Shishitoren's territory, where they are enthusiastically welcomed by the overzealous Choji. Upon arrival, they discover Shishitoren's side of town marred by graffiti and shuttered pubs. The group is then escorted to Shishitoren's haunt: a decrepit, deserted theater known as The Orion, though only the letters "Ori" – suggesting "Cage" – are visible. It has effectively become a confined microcosm of combat chaos.

Upon entering the theater, Bofurin witnesses Shishitoren members seated and causing a racket. Umemiya remarks about Choji's transformation of the stage into a lively spectacle. They take their seats, and Sugishita's adversary eagerly requests to fight first. It becomes evident that Sugishita's opponent is a formidable fighter, prompting concern from Nirei, which Umemiya dismisses with casual indifference.

Sugishita ascends the stage, only to have his attention diverted by his foe, who cleverly mentions Umemiya. In an instant, Sugishita turns his head, and his opponent delivers a swift punch to his face, shocking everyone present. Just as it seems Sugishita is doomed – given his opponent's reputation for one-punch knockouts – he emerges unscathed and retaliates with a counter-punch, accompanied by a lesson on properly addressing Umemiya as "Umemiya-san." This results in his adversary collapsing unconscious.

The Shishitoren members are left speechless, while Choji exudes joy at this display of raw power. Their unconscious teammate is handled with disdain and tossed off the stage to make way for the next bout. Suo then calls out to his nervous opponent, who is visibly anxious, biting their nails. It transpires that little is known about Suo beyond his prodigious strength during his middle school days. Since he didn't attend middle school in Bofurin's town, his details remain obscure to most.

As the battle commenced, Suo stood his ground, an unmoving target as his adversary launched into a flurry of strikes. Yet, to everyone's astonishment, regardless of the ferocity or speed of the attacks, Suo deftly sidestepped each one with effortless grace. His movements were so fluid and poised that Sakura comprehended he was one who delighted in toying with his foes. Though Suo might appear sadistic, throughout the entire encounter, his intention was to impart a valuable lesson to his opponent. It was later unveiled that this foe had been among those who had mocked and relished the moment when one of Suo's teammates was struck down by Sakura and Sugishita.

With the fight reaching a deadlock, Jo Togame intervened, declaring that Suo's adversary was not a member of Shishitoren. This was precisely what the man had dreaded, but Suo remarked that being an adult encompassed empathy. And empathy, he explained, stems from imagination and experience. Thus, Suo had taught him a lesson in empathy, a retaliatory act for what the man had inflicted upon his teammate, a tit-for-tat justice served with elegance and precision.
