Wind Breaker – Season 2 Episode 1 1

Flashing back to the serene moments before the turmoil, the students tread toward KEEL's lair, their only intelligence about this menacing team being their brutal tactics—unrestrained violence, the wielding of bats, and the ganging up on single opponents. As they near their destination, Nirei's phone incessantly rings, irritating Sakura and casting a dark shadow over an otherwise peaceful interlude.

Sugishita swings open the base's gate, but KEEL's members barely acknowledge the intrusion, using the moment to guffaw and taunt Nagato, Anzai's kidnapped friend. Matters escalate as more of KEEL's thugs arrive, stacking the odds against Furin. Amidst this tense atmosphere, Sakura and the elite fighters display a casual disregard, treating the impending conflict as a mere game. However, a shift in demeanor occurs; Furin's side grows emboldened, and the battle commences.

In the melee, each participant holds their ground, enabling Sakura and Anzai to inch closer to Nagato. Alas, Anzai proves no match for the opposing team's leader, who delivers a devastating kick to his head, marking the beginning of their collective despair. To rub salt into the wound, KEEL reinforces with five additional fighters, targeting Furin's strongest members. Despite the odds becoming slightly more manageable, the situation remains dire for Sakura and his companions. Kongo, wielding a metal pipe, exploits Sakura's confusion to further rile him up, only fueling his rage. Yet, before he can retaliate, a sneak attack from behind fells him.

The narrative circles back to Nirei, wracked with shame for his inactivity, who leaps into action to rescue a classmate. Though KEEL savagely beats him, the timely arrival of second-year students Kaji, Kusumi, and Enomoto turns the tide. In mere seconds, they reverse the dynamic, restoring Furin's advantage and striking fear into the hearts of their adversaries.

Kaji strides toward KEEL's leader, but Sakura interrupts, declaring his intent to defeat him personally. This sparks something within the second-year student, prompting him to confront his junior sternly. Kondo attempts to mock and prolong the confrontation, but the mere sight of Kaji's menacing kick strikes terror into his heart. Subsequently, Kaji delivers a punch to Sakura, jarring him back to reality.

Sakura remains utterly perplexed, yet Kaji, in a fit of frustration, shouts down upon him, emphasizing that his primary concern should never be to retaliate against one's foes in anger. As the class representative, his duty lies in supporting his fellow classmates. Nevertheless, Kaji acknowledges Sakura's emotional turmoil, vowing to confront and defeat the leader of KEEL on behalf of both of them. Following this exchange, Sakura strikes himself in a moment of epiphany, finally grasping the gravity of his own actions.
