Leader of KEEL, Natori, addresses Kaji, asserting that despite their similarities, their differing devotion to Bofurin sets them apart. Natori finds it bewildering that someone, particularly one who harbors a fondness for violence, would endeavor to assist others. Yet, this revelation does not forge a bond between them; rather, it fuels Kaji's rage and strengthens his resolve to vanquish Natori.

Wind Breaker – Season 2 Episode 2 1

Unlike his previous demeanor, Sakura unmasks himself as a beast before the other gang members, revealing his true priorities. With this newfound awareness, he swiftly overpowers Kondo and numerous other delinquents. The narrative then shifts to Sugishita and Tsugeura's battle, where both initially struggle against their formidable opponents but swiftly regain the upper hand. After exchanging a few potent punches, they successfully knock out their adversaries. When focused, KEEL stands no chance against Furin's elite fighters.

The scene transitions to Kiryuu's confrontation. His foe attempts to taunt him by questioning his masculinity, but Kiryuu remains unperturbed. Instead, he capitalizes on the delinquent's insecurities, provoking him further. As the opponent's anger escalates, Kiryuu effortlessly dispatches him, eliminating four of KEEL's top warriors from contention. Meanwhile, the second-year students lend their support to their junior counterparts, ensuring they remain in the fray unharmed. To their delight, Sakura steps in to reinforce their defenses, vowing to dedicate all his strength to their aid from henceforth.

However, Suou requires a distinct form of assistance. He is overwhelming his opponent, not giving him any chance to fight back, as if driven by some force. Sakura intervenes, halting one of Suou's blows, reminding him that there is no need to strike down someone who is already defeated. Suou argues, but Sakura's expression of shame and self-disgust for succumbing to his anger serves as a wake-up call. This rebuke is the catalyst Suou needs to grasp the importance of self-control.

As Kaji engages in combat, Natori scorns him as merely an animal, weakened by Furin's influence. Kaji concedes that he harbors a wild streak, once engaging in fights incessantly, only snapping out of it when those around him had fallen. He loathes this aspect of himself and credits Hiiragi for rescuing him from this darkness. Unlike KEEL, his school boasts genuine leaders.

This statement incenses Natori, who proceeds to brutalize Kaji, viewing him with even greater contempt. He urges the second-year student to abandon Furin and join his ranks, believing it would enhance his strength. Observing Kaji losing control and striking him with ferocity, Natori feels validated in his belief. However, his plan backfires as Kaji, maintaining his composure, defeats him without succumbing to his primal instincts, halting just shy of regret. With this triumph, Kaji and his fellow first-year classmates celebrate their hard-earned victory.

Anzai gradually returns to his senses, his gaze sweeping over the scene where his friends have emerged victorious from the fray. Yet, before he can immerse himself in their joyous celebration, there lingers one final task awaiting him. Nagato, voicing his apologies, inquiries the rationale behind Anzai's selfless actions, questioning why he lent a hand without being solicited. Sakura, stepping forward to intervene, responds on Anzai's behalf, emphasizing the necessity for direct eye contact and an authentic conversation—a reflection of Sakura's own state at the year's dawn, when he stood alone, unable to lean on anyone except his own steadfast self.
