One person who doesn't know about this blackmail is Elena. She's not happy that Coop keeps blowing her off, but he does his best to reassure her. He also tries to convince Tori to talk to Mel, who is not happy that things aren't moving faster with her daughter. The other women start gossiping about Tori dipping out of Princeton, but their mood soon changes when Ashe shows up with Sam at the latest Passover celebration in town.

Things take an awkward turn when Coop finds himself seated around Ashe and Sam at the table. It's not the best start, but Sam manages to break the ice with a couple of the women and start to win them over. Mel is obviously not one of them. Thanks to her way back in, Sam winds up having sex with Ashe. When Mel gets too drunk, Tori calls an Uber to take her home. She calls her mother pathetic before leaving.

Meanwhile, Ali struggles at school when Finn, a disruptive student at the back, winds up talking in the middle of the class. Ali curses him out, frustrated at his apathy, which causes the rest of the students to look pretty shocked. That night, while Coop mulls over how to handle this whole Tori/Mel situation, our protagonist gets back to breaking into houses again. With Elena guiding him, Coop takes some new gear... but there's a problem. Ashe calls and he's completely erratic. He demands Coop move faster with his money, otherwise he's going to leak the video to the cops. Ashe is in the middle of snorting cocaine here, which doesn't help, and Coop is forced to abandon the plan. Elena is obviously not happy.

When Coop shows up at Ashe's place, he candidly acknowledges that this situation will require patience. He hasn't yet approached Jack due to the volatile circumstances, despite having tried to reach out multiple times. Coop is compelled to perform a line to appease his blackmailer, which proves quite effective in showcasing the extreme instability of the perpetrator. However, things take a surprising turn when Ashe attempts to woo Sam's child with a new drone. It's clearly too soon for such a gesture, but Ashe seemingly brushes it off as if it's no big deal.

In the meantime, Coop is approached by Liv at the office. After some playful banter, they finally meet with Jack. He brings up the Excelsior fund and eventually succeeds in getting what he wants. However, Ashe isn't going to delete the video anytime soon.

The entire scenario unfolds in a tense yet intriguing manner, with each character's actions and reactions adding layers of complexity to the plot.
