The burgeoning Hollywood star, 21-year-old Sam Nivola, recently admitted in an interview with Parade that Timothée Chalamet stands out as "one of the best actors alive," even amidst his own ascending trajectory. Renowned for portraying Lochlan Ratliff in the third season of HBO's acclaimed series 'The White Lotus,' Nivola finds himself entangled in the complex dynamics of the Ratliff family, embodying the youngest sibling caught between his siblings' clashing temperaments and his parents' premeditated expectations for his future.

In a recent feature with Variety, the young actor opened up about his role in 'The White Lotus,' expressing his admiration for fellow actor Timothée Chalamet. Prior to heaping praise on Chalamet, Nivola lamented the娱乐业's apparent reluctance to embrace fresh talent, noting the prevalence of older actors resorting to plastic surgery to retain a youthful appearance.

"He's a legitimate star... Yet, he embodies a different breed of movie star; not bulked up and towering. He possesses a physique that resonates more with mine," remarked Nivola, who, like Chalamet, sports a slender frame and a youthful countenance. Despite being born into a family of actors—his parents being Emily Mortimer and Alessandro Nivola—and being immersed in the Brooklyn indie film scene from a young age, Nivola embarked on his acting journey independently. His parents discouraged their children from pursuing acting, but undeterred, Nivola clandestinely submitted a self-tape during his senior year of high school, ultimately landing the role of Henrich in the 2022 film 'White Noise,' alongside Adam Driver and Greta Gerwig.

Following his stellar performance in 'The White Lotus,' Nivola has swiftly carved a niche for himself in the industry. He is poised to star alongside fellow 'White Lotus' alumnus Connie Britton in Hulu's upcoming coming-of-age mystery 'Phony,' and has recently wrapped production on a Bobby Farrelly-directed R-rated comedy film titled 'Driver's Ed.' Currently residing in Manhattan's East Village with his girlfriend, Iris Apatow, Nivola is also the co-founder of Cold Worm, a production company he established with his two closest friends.

With 'The White Lotus' behind him and an array of promising projects on the horizon, Nivola's career is undeniably just taking off.
