This exciting project, slated to air on Peacock, boasts James Wan as one of its executive producers, adding yet another layer of anticipation.

Inspired by Robert McCammon's captivating 1988 novel, "Stinger," "Teacup" promises to be a thrilling tale of survival. The series follows a group of individuals in rural Georgia (a deviation from the novel's original Texas setting) who must unite in the face of an enigmatic and deadly threat. Strahovski will take on the role of Maggie Chenoweth, a character sure to captivate audiences with her courage and resilience.

"Teacup" was ordered to series late in 2022, a collaboration between Universal Studio Group's UCP and Wan's Atomic Monster banner. Ian McCulloch, who previously worked on "Yellowstone," has adapted the novel for the screen, while E.L. Katz, known for his work on "The Haunting of Bly Manor," will helm the first episode.

McCulloch joins Wan, Michael Clear, and Rob Hackett from Atomic Monster, as well as Katz, McCammon, Francisca X. Hu, and Kevin Tancharoen, as executive producers. This esteemed team of creators promises to bring "Teacup" to life with all the suspense and horror that fans have come to expect.

As for Strahovski's current gig, filming for the final season of "The Handmaid's Tale" is set to commence in the summer. Elisabeth Moss, star and executive producer of the Hulu drama, revealed this exciting news during a January appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Strahovski has received two Emmy nominations for her portrayal of Serena Joy Waterford in the series, a testament to her exceptional talent and dedication to the role.
