Formerly known as "Judgment Day," Stoller’s latest cinematic endeavor pivots around a youthful convict (Efron) who, fresh out of prison, seizes an unscripted TV courtroom, convinced that a life-altering ruling by the judge (Ferrell) shattered his future. The specific roles that Chopra Jonas and Peña will embody remain shrouded in mystery.

The production is helmed by producers Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, and Alex Brown from Gloria Sanchez Productions, alongside Stoller himself, representing Stoller Global Solutions. Chopra Jonas’ slate includes Amazon MGM’s "The Bluff," helmed by Frank E. Flowers, and "Heads of State," co-starring John Cena and Idris Elba. She has also graced the studio’s action series "Citadel" alongside Richard Madden. Under her Purple Pebble Pictures banner, Chopra Jonas boasts a first-look deal for film and television with Amazon MGM.

Peña, currently seen opposite Jason Statham in theaters in "A Working Man," boasts credits in Amazon MGM’s "A Million Miles Away" and the Paramount+ series "Landman." His upcoming projects encompass Peacock’s "All Her Fault" and Gore Verbanski’s "Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die." Chopra Jonas is represented by UTA, alongside Anjula Acharia, Dana Supnick-Guidoni, and Grubman Shire, while Peña is managed by CAA, Entertainment 360, and SGSBC.

Together, this talented ensemble promises to elevate Stoller’s next comedy, blending humor with high stakes in a narrative as intriguing as it is entertaining.
