Greetings, this is GOLDMEDALIST. Lately, our esteemed artist, Kim Soo Hyun, has been the target of a deluge of vicious posts, comments, and falsehoods perpetuated online without discrimination. Malicious slander, the dissemination of false information, personal attacks, and sexual harassment—rampant in online communities and social media—are criminal acts that cannot be overlooked. Thanks to the vigilant reporting by our fans and our internal monitoring efforts, we filed a legal complaint with investigative authorities on April 14th, charging defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act and insult under the Criminal Act.

The actions of so-called "cyber wreckers," who exploit anonymity to churn out fake news and produce videos and shorts that incite cyberbullying, are of grave concern. As the identities of these cyber wreckers are gradually being unveiled and legal action is being taken against them, we too, in coordination with our overseas legal representatives, will respond firmly against foreign platforms such as YouTube and X (formerly Twitter).

We vow to continue filing additional complaints against malicious posts that defame our artist's reputation and promise to employ robust legal measures to safeguard our artist's rights against any unmistakable criminal behavior. Thank you for your understanding and support.
