Blake Lively's popularity has inevitably taken a nose-dive following her legal battle with her "It Ends With Us" co-star and director, Justin Baldoni. From the re-emergence of an old video where she left a female interviewer hanging mid-conversation, to a more recent fan encounter described as "horrible," the Hollywood actress seems to be attracting nothing but negative limelight.
The star of "Another Simple Favour" faced backlash from a fan for her alleged "rude" behavior at a New York City store. A fan named Landon took to TikTok to narrate her experience while shopping at Stoney Clover Lane, where the 37-year-old actress was already present. The social media user, who boasts over 197,000 followers, shared that she was there with her mother and sister when she had an extremely unpleasant run-in with the actress, leading her to question the very existence of her fandom.
"Initially, we walked in and were just browsing around... I didn't even notice [Lively] at first. I was shopping for my sister, and the way [Lively] was talking to the store employees was incredibly rude," the netizen recounted.
"She demanded, 'I want a fresh one of these—one that hasn't been touched by other customers... Is there a private bathroom?'" the internet user elaborated on her 'diva-like' attitude.
Landon further reported that the wife of Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds was engrossed in finalizing patches for her customized bag, ignoring everyone around her, including her own children and niece.
"I thought, 'Oh my God. People work hard in stores like this, and this is how you treat them? It's like you think you're entitled to everything,'" Landon expressed her disgust towards the actress.
Shockingly, the TikToker revealed that it was apparent that they had unintentionally intruded upon the mother of four's personal space.
"Firstly, it's a store. There's no sign saying you can't enter. She didn't block it off," she added.
"And as soon as we left, [Lively's] security guard came and stood in front of the door. By the time I reached the corner of the street, the security guard was staring at me," Landon continued.
Disheartened, the social media user urged netizens to reconsider their admiration for Lively if she is unkind to ordinary people.
