Celebrity Medium Tyler Henry Undergoes Surgery for Brain Tumor for 2nd Time in 6 Months

Published: Nov 17 2025

Tyler Henry is seeking healing, and his husband Clint Godwin shares that Tyler has recently undergone his third brain operation—the second in just six months—to address a cyst that had been growing and releasing fluid in his brain. This condition was first diagnosed and addressed through surgery when Tyler was just 18 years old.

"As you may remember, my dear husband Tyler underwent brain surgery in May 2025," Clint began in his November 13 post. "However, over the past month, symptoms of swelling returned. Tyler's medical team decided that another surgery to address the recurring cyst and swelling was the best option."

Clint, who tied the knot with the medium on May 7, 2025, just before Tyler's first procedure, went on to confirm that Tyler is "recovering well" following his most recent surgery. "A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who has taken a moment to think of Tyler and our family over the past couple of days," he concluded, adding in his caption, "They say the third time is a charm!"

The news comes six months after Tyler updated fans about his recovery from the May surgery to address the colloid tumor. "Great prognosis, incredible staff, and I feel so thankful to be surrounded by my family," Tyler wrote in a May 14 Instagram post. "I'll be on bedrest for a month and look forward to getting back to doing readings." Noting that "most" of the tumor had been removed in the procedure, the 29-year-old continued, "This isn't my first rodeo with this. I have so much to be thankful for - I'll see you all very soon with lots of thought-provoking subjects and of course, readings."

In fact, two months after the surgery, Tyler shared insight into how the procedures and diagnosis had affected his psychic abilities. "I was worried about anything related to the brain that it might affect my ability," he told E! News' Francesca Amiker. "But I found that not having brain inflammation actually made things a lot clearer."

Looking back, Tyler was able to recognize how the condition left him "dealing with a lot of confusing symptoms," making it "hard to orient physically." He added, "I would sometimes feel kind of slow in responses and deal with aphasia, where I couldn't really find my words." But throughout it all, he had his longtime partner Clint by his side. "We got married just before my brain surgery, just in case anything went wrong," Tyler recalled. "We went to the Beverly Hills courthouse. As we signed the papers, Clint looked up and saw 2:22 on the clock—his sign from his late grandfather. He added, "It was such a meaningful moment."
