It seems that when R&B singer-actress Chloe Bailey isn't busy crafting melodies, she finds herself entangled in controversies surrounding her TikTok posts, which allegedly contain nudity. A post shared by Livebitez captured Bailey engaging with her fans live on TikTok on Saturday, July 19th, addressing the situation head-on.
"My live has been restricted due to nudity and body exposure," Chloe began, explaining the bewildering turn of events. With a touch of humor, the singer referenced her body type, quipping, "These 'itty bitty titties' have landed me in restriction territory? I'm just a girl trying to build some Legos on live. What more can I do, Jesus?"
As if on cue, Chloe received another restriction notice while still streaming. This prompted her to poll her viewers on whether she should continue broadcasting. "Keep liking the live, folks, since some people want to restrict me," Bailey said just before receiving yet another notice. "It just handed me another restriction. Is this really what's expected of me?"
The restrictions stemmed from Chloe's attire, a light green tennis outfit that she affectionately referred to as such. At the behest of her fans, Bailey decided to log off and restart the live stream.
This latest live session comes hot on the heels of Chloe garnering praise for her beat-making prowess on Thursday. She shared a clip of herself creating music on a drum machine and microphone, captioning it, "Check out what I was cooking up last night."
With the upcoming release of her sophomore album, Trouble in Paradise, scheduled for August 2024, the singer-producer is actively taking a more hands-on role in shaping her sound. Recorded in the picturesque setting of St. Lucia, the album boasts collaborations with artists like Anderson .Paak, Jeremih, Ty Dolla $ign, YG Marley, and her sister Halle Bailey.
In recent interviews, Chloe has revealed her intentions to dive deeper into music production, citing her global travels and personal growth as significant influences. "I'm thrilled to delve further into my producer bag," she enthused, hinting at a more autonomous and innovative approach to her artistry.
