Daisy Edgar-Jones is acutely aware that her co-stars, predominantly male heartthrobs of the internet, have garnered immense admiration. Over the recent years, she has graced the silver screen alongside Hollywood's most sought-after leading men, among them Paul Mescal in "Normal People," Harris Dickinson in "Where the Crawdads Sing," Andrew Garfield in "Under the Banner of Heaven," Sebastian Stan in "Fresh," Glen Powell in "Twisters," and Jacob Elordi in "On Swift Horses."

In an interview with Elle magazine, published on Tuesday, Edgar-Jones reflected on her collaborations with these highly desired and admired actors. "I've had the privilege of working alongside virtually all the internet's boyfriends," she mused. "Fortunately, every actor I've shared the screen with has been incredibly supportive of me as the lead – Glen, Sebastian, Paul, all of them. Their success, adoration, and brilliance stem from their generosity; they prioritize the narrative over themselves," she elaborated. "Glen would always ask, 'What is Kate's journey here? Let's discover it together.' Sebastian was equally invested in Noa's arc. Working with Paul is like playing tennis with your best friend."

The British actress added a note of caution, expressing trepidation about a future where her fortune of working with esteemed male leads might diminish, citing the pervasive ego that often marks the film industry.

Edgar-Jones first garnered global recognition in 2020, portraying Marianne Sheridan opposite Mescal in the critically acclaimed limited series adaptation of "Normal People" – a role she remains unwearied of discussing. "I yearn to find another project that resonates as deeply," she confessed. "I'm still astounded by its widespread impact. Five years hence, I'm older and eager to discuss diverse topics too."

As she embarks on her quest for fresh roles, Edgar-Jones aspires for each character she portrays to be multifaceted, profound, and layered, echoing the complexities of humanity.

Addressing the controversy surrounding her character Kate in "Twisters," and the lack of a climactic kiss between her and Glen Powell's Tyler, which disappointed fans and sparked backlash, she clarified, "I'm aware of the uproar over the missing kiss. However, Kate's journey in that film transcended romantic boundaries."

Edgar-Jones's upcoming film, "Voyagers," marks her second collaboration with one of the internet's boyfriends, Andrew Garfield, in a biopic about astronomer Carl Sagan. Joking aside, she quipped, "Now, only Timothée Chalamet and Austin Butler remain!"
