Danielle Deadwyler, Billy Barratt, Alfred Molina, Tim Meadows, and Dolly De Leon have joined the ensemble cast of A24's thrilling drama "The Chaperones," which is being produced by Plan B and Icki Eneo Arlo - the banner that brought us the indie darling Robert Pattinson. India Donaldson, the indie-favorite director, is at the helm of this project.

The drama revolves around a drug dealer and his two slacker buddies who are hired to transport a troubled teen across the country. David Jonsson and Cooper Hoffman lead the cast as the drug dealer's partner, a reluctant chaperone, and Hoffman himself, a young man who is aggressive and reckless. Paul Dano rounds out the impressive ensemble as the drug dealer himself.
Deadwyler, last seen in Blumhouse's horror film "The Woman in the Yard," brings her impressive resume to the table with credits in "I Saw the TV Glow," "The Piano Lesson," and "Carry-On." She is represented by Paradigm Talent Agency, Play Management, and Ziffren Brittenham.
Barratt, who starred in A24's horror film "Bring Her Back" directed by the Philippou Brothers and appears on Apple TV's sci-fi series "Invasion," is represented by Paradigm, Sylvia Young Agency, and Hansen Jacobson. Molina, a seasoned veteran (known for his role in "Spider-Man 2") who last appeared in Doug Liman's Apple TV movie "The Instigators" with Matt Damon and Casey Affleck, is represented by Lou Coulson Associates and Anonymous Content.
Meadows, who this year appeared in DC Studios' "Peacemaker" and stars in CBS's workplace comedy "DMV," is represented by Reliant Talent Agency and Brillstein Entertainment Partners. De Leon, who was on the boat in Cannes darling "Triangle of Sadness" and also appeared in Paul Feig's action comedy "Jackpot!" starring John Cena and Awkwafina, is represented by Gersh, Fusion Entertainment, and Jackoway Austen.
