Gwen Stefani didn't have to wait long for a passionate kiss from Blake Shelton in 2026. The "Sweet Escape" hitmaker and her husband embraced the arrival of the new year with a fervent kiss, proving that their love for each other remains as strong as ever. Gwen shared a self-recorded video on her Instagram Stories just after midnight on New Year's Eve, where she and Blake were beaming with joy as they celebrated and sang amidst a crowd of people. She donned a "Happy New Year" tiara atop a baseball hat, while he sported a "Happy New Year 2026" top hat. At the end of the clip, the No Doubt frontwoman leaned into Blake for a kiss before he wrapped his hands around her face for a steamy smooch.Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton Share Steamy New Year’s Eve Kiss 1

Gwen, a mother to Kingston, 18, Zuma, 16, and Apollo, 10, from her previous marriage with Gavin Rossdale, had previously hinted at her holiday plans with Blake, revealing that they were planning to split their time between their two homes. "Blake and I are constantly bouncing back and forth between Oklahoma," she explained on the Dec. 4 episode of Today. "This December, we're going back there and then we'll bounce back to L.A."

It turns out that one of the perks of their approach to the holiday season is that they sometimes get to celebrate the same holiday twice. "We just had Thanksgiving," the "Cool" singer said at the time. "We had two of them. It's been a blessing to be able to do that. We'll do more of the bouncing back and forth, back and forth. I love it. Oklahoma, this time of year, is the best. It's so beautiful."

In fact, she has expressed her fondness for Oklahoma ever since she started spending more time in her husband's home state after meeting him as a fellow coach on The Voice a decade ago. "I know this sounds weird, but Blake and I came together in gardening," she told The Guardian last year. "We have a house together in Oklahoma and during the pandemic we came across this very old building on the land and there were some purple irises, which someone must have planted centuries ago, but they’ve survived."
