Gypsy Rose Blanchard Shows Off Dramatic Body Transformation After Weight Loss

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is shedding light on her remarkable weight loss secrets. More than two years after her release from prison for conspiring to kill her mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, Gypsy has showcased her physical transformation and revealed the secrets behind her remarkable weight loss.

“OK y’all, I’m not gatekeeping,” she captioned a video posted to Instagram on March 4. “My weight loss came from life circumstances.” After being released two years ago, Gypsy’s lifestyle underwent a significant change—from commissary junk food to home-cooked meals and trying new foods.

To further prove her point, Gypsy recorded herself stepping up on the scale and displayed its reading at 108 pounds. She also showcased her toned abs in the clip, along with her long brown locks.

The 34-year-old, who shares daughter Aurora, 14 months, with boyfriend Ken Urker, noted that her weight loss was not intentional and was not due to exercise or medication. “I don’t follow a workout routine (though I’d love one),” she explained. “I don’t limit my diet, and I don’t use GLP-1.”

“I wasn’t actively trying to lose weight,” she added. “My whole life just changed and adjusted to freedom.” Indeed, Gypsy has been embracing her freedom and ability to change up her appearance ever since she was released from prison in December 2023.

Aside from losing weight, the Life After Lockup star got a nose job in April 2024 and has been rocking new hairstyles. Some of those hair changes have only been temporary, as Gypsy told fans in November that she’s been wearing wigs to help her feel her best after cutting her hair.

“I had to cut it really short because nearly two years of bleaching it completely fried it,” Gypsy explained. “I don’t feel confident with short hair. So I normally wear a high-quality wig while my real hair grows back healthy.” As she put it, “I’m giving my hair a fresh start so it can grow long again.”

And Gypsy doesn’t intend to stop changing up her looks anytime soon. “It’s never too late to start reinventing yourself, even if it is something subtle like a new hairstyle,” she wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post in January 2024. “Enjoy life, express yourself in whatever creative ways that may make you happy.”
