Kelly Osbourne Slams "Disgusting" Comments on Her Appearance After Dad Ozzy Osbourne's Death

Published: Dec 12 2025

Kelly Osbourne isn't about to hop on the body-shaming bandwagon. In fact, the former "The Osbournes" star isn't afraid to clap back at the social media trolls who have recently taken aim at her appearance. "First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for the numerous lovely, loving, and supportive comments I've received from people who have truly been a source of strength during this difficult time since my father's passing," Kelly began on her now-expired Dec. 10 Instagram Story. "But I've also received some truly disgusting, cruel, and mean-spirited comments. And I'm sitting here thinking, 'What do you expect from me? What do you expect me to look like right now?'"

Kelly pointed out that grieving the loss of her father Ozzy Osbourne—who passed away at the age of 76 on July 22—has taken a toll on her, and she should be celebrated rather than shamed. "The fact that I'm getting out of bed and facing my life, trying to move forward, should be more than enough," she said. "And I should be commended for that."

The "Shut Up" singer had a message for the people leaving the hurtful comments. "You need to take a hard, honest look at yourself," Kelly advised. "Because most of the things you're saying about me are a reflection of how you feel about yourself."

"You know, when you say I look ill, well, I am ill right now," she explained. "My life is completely upside down. I don't understand why people expect me to bounce back and look like everything is just fine when it's not."

Kelly—who shares son Sid, 3, with fiancé Sid Wilson—had strong words for the people who leave "mean comments," especially women. "The thing that I find the most disappointing about all this is that most of the comments are coming from grown women," Kelly said. "Women who claim to be counselors, mothers, and women who struggle with their own weight issues—it's absolutely devastating that women can't support other women; they'd rather tear them down. And it's disgusting, and I've had enough of it. So, go f--- yourself."

Kelly isn't the only member of her family who shares these views. Sharon Osbourne—who was married to Ozzy since 1981—validated her daughter's feelings against hurtful comments. "She's right, and if she's not happy, it's because she lost her daddy," Sharon told Piers Morgan during a Dec. 10 interview. "She can't eat right now. It's a shield for people who are unhappy, jealous, and have a skewed perception of someone else."
