"It tugged at my heartstrings and transported me straight back to those days," the "Masked Singer" judge revealed in an interview with TV Insider, published on Thursday. "But that's all I'm legally permitted to disclose."

While he couldn't divulge much more, he did hint, "A script exists, and a plan is in place. We're just uncertain about the timing. Once everything is finalized, it'll be nothing short of magical and deeply emotional." He further elaborated, "Stepping back onto the set and experiencing it all again will be incredibly fulfilling. Words fail me in expressing how thrilled I am."

"Community" revolved around a study group at the fictitious Greendale Community College, featuring an ensemble cast that also included Alison Brie, Donald Glover, Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jim Rash, and Chevy Chase, who exited the show after the fourth season due to a falling out with creator Dan Harmon.

"During the show's run, we had the most devoted fans of any project I've ever been involved in," Jeong reminisced.

Harmon previously told The Hollywood Reporter that everyone in the cast, except for Chase, had agreed to return for the "Community" movie. "What will matter most to me, as an audience member or to anyone who loved the show, is seeing those characters interact with each other again," he said. "They still have a deep affection for one another, and it wouldn't feel the same if they were filmed separately, months apart, in different locations."

Harmon's utmost priority is to ensure that the fans are delighted with the film. "They've been the most supportive fans I've ever had, and they've stuck with me through thick and thin," he said. "When I was feuding with Chevy, I wasn't thinking about them. Later, I realized that I had hurt these people who didn't want to see me as some quirky, self-styled Kubrick. They cared about Greendale, this world I created, and suddenly, they were getting an unfiltered glimpse of me, which wasn't fair to them.

"I genuinely don't want to do this wrong, and it's incredibly daunting. But I'm clinging to the hope that acknowledging my fear is a step towards breaking the cycle," he continued.

The series aired from 2009 to 2015, spanning six memorable seasons.
