It seems that Kendall Jenner doesn't have to worry about her sisters borrowing her clothes. The supermodel revealed that her fashion choices don't always receive the warmest reception from her siblings, Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kourtney Kardashian. "When it comes to style within my family, at least, I have different style choices than some of them," Kendall explained in a Vogue video published on February 27th. "Sometimes, I'll definitely walk into a family dinner and one or two of them will be like, 'This is cool, what is this?' A little side-eye action."
But the founder of 818 Tequila doesn't let their skepticism get to her. She insists that she "could care less" how other people feel about her clothes. "When I love something," she said, "I love it."
One item in her closet that she really adores is her carefully curated collection of Hermès bags. "Any Hermès bags that I own, I'm very particular about the ones that I have," Kendall shared. "I love really old ones. Pointing out one Hermès Kelly bag that she's especially fond of, she continued, "They're super worn, these Kellys, and the leather is super crunchy. I love when the leather cracks and there are scratches and scuffs and the corners are all messed up." She added, "This is so chic to me and so beautiful."
As for how she would categorize her fashion sense, Kendall said that the foundation of her style is to "prioritize her comfort." "The more comfortable I am, the happier I am," Kendall continued, "and actually the hotter I feel. Truly."
However, that outlook came with age. After all, Kendall recalled having fairly different preferences when she was younger. "I was always wearing major heels—like massive heels—everywhere I went," the 30-year-old said. "I remember thinking at the time, 'The heel made the outfit.'" Kendall quipped, "That is so not the case for me anymore."
