Kesha Reveals Cassie Ventura Sent Her Flowers During Emotional Concert Speech

The horizon is ablaze with promise for Kesha. Amidst the heart-wrenching rendition of her chart-topping track "Praying" during her "T-ts Out Tour's" NYC leg, the vocalist was honored with a three-minute standing ovation—a poignant display that couldn't help but elicit a few teary eyes. Halted by the overwhelming warmth, Kesha took a moment to acknowledge her dear friend Cassie Ventura amidst the thunderous applause.

A clip circulating on social media captured Kesha's emotional gratitude, where she also paid tribute to "survivors." Addressing the crowd, she said, "Earlier tonight, Cassie gifted me beautiful flowers backstage." Her voice wavered as she continued, "Know that this sea of love isn't solely directed at me; it extends to anyone who has weathered through storms they never deserved."

At the concert celebrating the launch of her independently produced album, Kesha also posted a snapshot of the floral tribute on X, accompanied by the heartfelt caption, "Thank you, Cassie. I adore you, sweet girl. My guardian angel of good fortune for MSG."

This isn't the first occasion when the "Joyride" crooner has openly expressed her solidarity with Ventura. Recently, when Cassie—who testified in her ex-partner Sean "Diddy" Combs' sex trafficking trial—was acquitted on three counts but convicted on two related to prostitution, Kesha's support was unwavering. (Combs, who has consistently denied the allegations, was sentenced for prostitution-related offenses on July 2 but cleared of sex trafficking and racketeering charges. His sentencing hearing is set for October 3.)

On July 2, Kesha posted on X, "Cassie, I stand with you. I cherish you. Your resilience serves as a guiding light for all survivors."

Cassie, who welcomed her third child with husband Alex Fine shortly after her court testimony, also had her lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, comment on Combs' verdict. "Despite the jury not finding Combs guilty of sex trafficking Cassie beyond reasonable doubt," Wigdor stated to E! News on July 2, "she has paved the way for the jury to convict him of transporting individuals for prostitution. Cassie's bravery has left an indelible impact on both the entertainment world and the quest for justice."
