Borrowing the title of one of their most cherished hits, Kevin Jonas embraces his humanity in the apt moniker, "Only Human." In a recent episode of the "The School of Greatness" podcast, the eldest Jonas Brother unveiled the chapter of his life marred by financial misjudgments. Jonas opened up about his journey, sharing how he "witnessed the dawn of success," a period clouded by a lack of understanding about money and its true value, ultimately culminating in "nearly squandering it all."
Though reluctant to delve into the intricacies, Jonas disclosed that about nine years ago, he found himself clinging to the final ten percent of his wealth. "I ventured into various property investments and other endeavors, actively constructing my empire at the time," he elaborated. "Regrettably, it wasn't a harmonious collaboration, if you catch my drift?"
From this tumultuous experience, Jonas drew invaluable lessons. "Fortunately, life offers second chances, and our band's reunion serves as a testament to that," he continued, his voice tinged with gratitude. "In a twist of fate, this adversity proved beneficial. I acquired this hard-earned wisdom—reluctantly, mind you—but it prompted a reevaluation of my life's approach and instilled a forward-looking perspective."
The Jonas Brothers, comprising siblings Kevin, Joe, and Nick, disbanded in 2013 only to rekindle their musical bond in 2019. They are now poised to commemorate their two-decade milestone with the "Jonas20: Living the Dream" tour, embarking from their hometown of New Jersey in August.
