Lady Gaga was born with an innate talent that sets her apart. On Thursday, February 13th, during an engaging episode of Hot Ones with Sean Evans, the renowned singer of "Abracadabra" confirmed that she penned her 2011 smash hit "Born This Way" in remarkably swift fashion. As Evans delved into her musical creations, he mentioned Gaga, now 38, once likening the composition of "Born This Way" to an "immaculate conception," revealing that she crafted it in a mere "10 bloody minutes." Gaga responded with astonishment, "Oh my God, I said that?" before acknowledging the truth in her rapid-fire songwriting. "For 'Born This Way' and numerous other tracks, I hear the melody almost instantly and then simply have to chase after it," she shared. "When I create music, I consider myself a receiver, actively listening. Perhaps that's why I made such a foolish remark about myself."

MTV News reports that Gaga's "Born This Way," which has garnered 14 Grammy Awards, achieved six-times platinum certification, soared to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and became iTunes' all-time fastest-selling single, amassing over one million downloads within five days.

She further elaborated on her process of discovering and refining a compelling hook, echoing a previous quote: "Without a strong chorus, who really cares?" Gaga explained, "Occasionally, I know a piece is complete when the image feels cohesive to me, but true validation comes from the audience's feedback – and they will certainly let you know."

Recently honored with a Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance alongside Bruno Mars for their song "Die with a Smile" on February 2nd, Gaga is set to release her album Mayhem next month. According to a press release shared with PEOPLE, Gaga revealed, "This album began as my confrontation with the fear of revisiting the pop music cherished by my earliest fans." She characterized her upcoming music as a departure from her past works, likening it to "reassembling a shattered mirror: even if you can't restore the pieces flawlessly, you can still create something stunning and cohesive in an entirely new manner."

Mayhem embodies "chaos and transformation, celebrating music's ability to unite, provoke, and heal." Mark your calendars for Friday, March 7th, when Mayhem drops.
