Hannah Fields continues to stir up emotions within the confines of Love Island USA. Following the revelation by fellow contestant Pepe Garcia that he couldn't shake off thoughts of the 23-year-old, even nearly two weeks after her heart-wrenching exit from the Peacock-hosted reality series, Hannah confessed that his admission made her abrupt departure all the more difficult to accept.
"I thought I was finally okay after bidding adieu to the villa," she penned on-screen during a July 3 TikTok video, "but then I watched episode 26."
In another clip shared on the platform, Hannah further highlighted how Pepe's lingering sentiments were impacting her everyday routine. As she strolled on a treadmill, she captioned her video, "No pre-workout today; just episode 26 on my mind."
During the July 1 episode of the dating competition, Pepe admitted that his past bond with Hannah hindered his ability to fully invest in his subsequent partnership with Gracyn Blackmore. "Hannah's been haunting me for the last three days," he confessed to Taylor Williams and TJ Palma. "I feel like I'm dragging Gracyn along. I definitely don't want to mislead her or tarnish her experience."
Other islanders also seemed to take notice, with an anonymous entry during the "Stand on Business" challenge accusing Pepe of playing it safe with Gracyn after Hannah's departure. In response, he said, "When something you were certain about is snatched away from you, it leaves a bitter taste."
As for Hannah, who had also forged a connection with Charlie Georgiou during her villa stay, she had earlier expressed her desire to explore a future with Pepe once he steps out of the island's confines. "Pepe and I share a genuine connection, and we've discussed life beyond the villa extensively," she shared with E! News in June. "Only time will unfold what's destined for me, so I remain expectation-free."
