Following his recent masterpiece Memory with Jessica Chastain, he returns with another enigmatic film, Dreams, that premiered at the 2025 Berlin Film Festival and mesmerized audiences at various other festivals throughout the year.

The story revolves around Fernando, a young Mexican ballet dancer who dreams of international acclaim and a life abroad. He dares to leave everything behind and cross the border, narrowly escaping death in the process. However, his arrival in America disrupts the carefully constructed world of his lover, Jennifer, a wealthy socialite and philanthropist played by Jessica Chastain. She will do whatever it takes to safeguard their future together and the life she has built for herself.

Dreams, written and directed by the acclaimed Mexican filmmaker Michel Franco, who has previously helmed Daniel and Ana, After Lucia, A los ojos, Chronic, April's Daughter, New Order, Sundown, and Memory, is produced by him along with Eréndira Núñez Larios and Alexander Rodnyansky. This cinematic gem premiered at the 2025 Berlin Film Festival earlier this year in the Main Competition and will now debut in select US theaters starting February 27th, 2026.
