Reign Disick has decided to put an end to the persistent rumors that Justin Bieber could be his father. During an Instagram Live session with his stepsister Alabama Barker's boyfriend, Scooter Jackson, the 10-year-old son of Kourtney Kardashian Barker and Scott Disick addressed a viewer's comment that implied Bieber, now 31, was his biological dad.
In the live stream, Reign's voice rang out clearly, "No, he's not. Bro, I swear, Justin Bieber is not my dad. Scotty... Scotty... Scotty is my dad." He added thoughtfully, "I don't know how old my mom was, but I think Justin Bieber was 16 when I was born. I don't think my mom would do that."
Kardashian Barker shares three children with Disick: sons Reign and Mason, 15, and daughter Penelope, 12. Reign was welcomed into the world in 2014, around the time Bieber was turning 20.
Back in 2016, multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE that Bieber, then 22, had a brief fling with Kardashian, who was 36 at the time. The pair were spotted together in late March of that year following Bieber's Purpose World Tour in Los Angeles. "They have hooked up a few times, including recently. It happens in L.A.," a source revealed. "He has met her kids, but they don't hook up around the kids. It's on nights when she has help and is able to go out." The source continued, "Kourtney is great. Justin thinks it's cool that she is older and hot. She isn't clingy and has her own life. There are no bad consequences for Justin to hook up with her. She is very easygoing and just makes it fun for him to be around her."
Despite Kardashian Barker's close friendship with the "Baby" singer, she has often expressed how much Reign reminds her of Disick. During an episode of The Kardashians, the Lemme co-founder visited Australia with her husband Travis Barker, 48, for his band Blink-182's tour, bringing their kids along. In one scene, Kardashian Barker was hanging out with her son Reign, who started acting goofy, making faces and adopting different voices. "I don't know where he gets a sense of humor. He's like a Jim Carrey," the mother of four said in a confessional.
Later in the scene, Reign began to tell a story. "Okay, so once upon a time," he started, pausing for an eternity before concluding, "That was the story." His sister Penelope couldn't help but roll her eyes, saying, "It's not that funny though." Kardashian Barker joked in her confessional, "I'm starting to get a lot of vibes, like his dad. I think he's starting to get that sense of humor. Just what we need."
In January 2024, Disick shared snapshots with his younger son, whom he affectionately nicknames Ray and Rayman. Posting photos of their time together on Instagram, Disick captured his son at dinner, perched at the table with an oversized fuzzy hat perched atop his head. Reign gazed directly at the camera, a phone clutched in his hands as the snapshot was captured. In the caption, Disick wrote, "I will call him Rayman, the king of the wild." In another photo shared on his Instagram Story, Disick watched as Reign scrutinized his chopsticks, captioning it, "Funny little guy."
