The couple radiated joy as they strutted down the red carpet at the 2025 Emmys, held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on September 14. Married since 2020, the pair arrived in impeccable style. Scarlett, aged 40, dazzled in a cream-colored strapless floor-length gown, complemented by matching drop earrings. Meanwhile, Colin, 43, exuded sophistication in a classic black suit paired with a matching bowtie.
The evening held special significance for the Saturday Night Live luminary, who clinched awards for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special, recognizing his contributions to SNL50: The Anniversary Special, and Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series for his work on SNL. Additionally, he earned a nomination for Outstanding Host for a Game Show, thanks to his role on Pop Culture Jeopardy!
Though Scarlett and Colin—proud parents to 4-year-old son Cosmo, as well as Scarlett's 11-year-old daughter Rose from her previous marriage to Romain Dauriac—have shared numerous red carpet moments over the years, Scarlett stole the spotlight on her own in June. When questioned about the viral exchanges, Colin remained completely unperturbed. "I suppose, in Jurassic Park terms, the attack always comes from the raptor you least expect," he quipped to Entertainment Tonight in July. "Out of all the potential threats out there, Jonathan wasn't on my radar."
After all, there was a crucial reason why Scarlett's rapport with her co-star didn't raise any real concerns. "Jonathan is an openly gay man—it didn't exactly seem like the biggest threat," Colin observed. "Jonathan and I were on the red carpet, joking, 'I guess we have to kiss now? Will that wrap things up nicely?'"
