Indonesian auteur Timo Tjahjanto, renowned for his spine-chilling horror and pulse-pounding action films like May the Devil Take You and segments of the V/H/S franchise, will helm this thrilling adventure. The screenplay is a collaborative effort by Derek Kolstad, Aaron Rabin, Odenkirk, and Umair Aleem, ensuring a riveting narrative.

The original film's stellar producing team is back, with Odenkirk joined by Kelly McCormick and David Leitch of 87North, Universal's dynamic duo. Marc Provissiero of Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment and Braden Aftergood of Eighty Two Films also lend their expertise to the project.

Universal Pictures has locked in a theatrical release date for Nobody 2 on August 15, 2025. The predecessor, crafted on a budget of $16 million, defied pandemic odds and raked in over $57.5 million worldwide, earning rave reviews from critics. The Hollywood Reporter lauded it as "a wish-fulfillment romp, just as ludicrous as any of them but more fun than most."

Stone, renowned for her boundary-pushing performance in the erotic thriller Basic Instinct and her Oscar-nominated turn opposite Robert de Niro and Joe Pesci in Casino, has recently focused her talents on television, appearing in Ryan Murphy's Ratched on Netflix and Paolo Sorentino's The New Pope on HBO. Her humanitarian efforts have garnered her numerous accolades, including a United Nations Global Citizen Award, Nobel Peace Summit Award, Harvard Humanitarian Award, Human Rights Campaign Humanitarian Award, and Einstein Spirit of Achievement Award.
