Taylor Swift has lent her hand to the relief endeavors for the infernos that have been scorching Los Angeles, revealing that she has contributed to numerous funds and organizations. On Thursday, she shared on her Instagram Story, "The blazes sweeping through California have shattered countless families, and witnessing these unfolding narratives has been heart-wrenching. There is an immense amount of suffering, loss, and devastation."
"As numerous individuals embark on one of the most arduous chapters of their lives, there also emerge incredible organizations and groups, uniting to assist these communities in their rebuilding efforts," she continued. Taylor then exhorted others to give back in any way they could.
"Here are the organizations I have donated to. If you find yourself moved or able to contribute, please do," she concluded her message. She proceeded to enumerate several organizations and funds, such as 211 LA, the California Community Foundation Fund, Direct Relief, the Greater Los Angeles Education Foundation, and more.
Taylor now joins a distinguished list of Hollywood personalities and corporations that have come forward to support the first responders and those affected by the fires. On Monday, Sony pledged $5 million to relief operations, and Beyoncé's BeyGOOD foundation donated $2.5 million, among various other contributions.
