Viewers have flocked to witness the poignant final summer of "The Summer I Turned Pretty," with the third and concluding season of Prime Video's captivating young adult series drawing an impressive 25 million global viewers in the week following its July 16 debut, according to the Amazon-owned streaming service. This marks a stunning 40 percent surge compared to the audience figures for season two within the same timeframe in July 2023, translating to approximately 17.9 million viewers in its opening week. This statistic, which also signifies a threefold increase in viewership from the show's inaugural season over seven days, positions "The Summer I Turned Pretty" as the fifth most-watched returning series in Prime Video's storied history, based on internal data. It trails closely behind seasons two and three of "Reacher," season two of "The Rings of Power," and season four of "The Boys," while a select few freshman seasons have surpassed this benchmark.
