Morgan is slated to shine in a fresh series penned by the talented Sam Means ('30 Rock,' 'Girls5Eva') and Robert Carlock (another '30 Rock' veteran), where he'll embody a disgraced ex-football star determined to restore his tarnished reputation. Fey, Carlock, Means, and Morgan are all on board as executive producers, steering the ship together.
This pilot marks the inaugural formal order of the season for NBC amidst a fleet of other projects in the works. Additionally, Morgan's commitment to this NBC endeavor comes on the heels of his leading role in 'Crutch,' a spin-off of CBS's 'The Neighborhood' set to air on Paramount+. Should the NBC pilot make it to series, his agreement cleverly allows him to juggle stardom in both shows simultaneously.
