Jan Ravnik's future in the realm of ballroom dancing remains shrouded in uncertainty. Following his stint on Dancing With the Stars' ongoing 34th season, the professional dancer has expressed uncertainty about returning for the competition's next cycle. "We'll see about that," he told People in an interview published on November 14th. "It's still a long way [away]. We're talking 2026 here. We don't know yet."

The 30-year-old, who served as the professional partner for Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jen Affleck until their elimination during week seven of the competition, noted that he is "still rehearsing a lot" in preparation for the show's upcoming semi-finals. However, he has found more joy in the gig recently. "It was stressful to [be] learning everything," he continued, "but now, I think because I'm already in a flow, it feels so much better."

With the finale fast approaching, Jan can already see himself becoming nostalgic for the experience. "In two weeks I'm gonna be done probably," he said. "I'm gonna be thinking, 'I missed that.'" However, Jan—who previously served as a backup dancer for Taylor Swift's Eras tour—is likely not missing the offscreen drama of DWTS. In fact, he found himself on the defensive when former pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy argued that he "had absolutely no business" as a ballroom dancer on the series, though the 45-year-old later walked back his remarks.

"I want to apologize to Jan for the way my words made you feel, for hurting your feelings," Maks said in a video posted on Instagram on October 30th. "There's a lot more that I want to say. I would like an opportunity to do it over coffee, or any kind of time you have to spare. I would love to meet. I would love to bury the hatchet."

While Jan has not publicly responded to Maks' offer, he did make it known that he is not a fan of negativity. "I'm a person who doesn't appreciate hate," Jan told E! News on October 28th, "or people who are spreading hate to stay relevant."
