Turning to Mal (Samuel Anderson) for assistance in retrieving the package, Amanda’s attention is diverted by the presence of Miss Siobhan Clacy. Mal’s swift refusal prompts Amanda to accept her new follower’s invitation without hesitation.

At football practice, Amanda, unable to contain her gossip, swiftly spreads tales of Clacy and Mal. Anne Flynn (Philippa Dunne), inquisitive, queries Mal about his supposed new love interest, to which he dismissively replies that she is merely an overnight guest. Amanda, with a hint of excitement, confesses her own foray into the dating scene. Anne, cautious, warns her of the pitfalls, having absorbed the cautionary tales of the Sweet Bobby Podcast.

Fi (Rochenda Sandall) extends a heartfelt invitation to Amanda for a post-practice bacon sarnie, but Amanda politely declines, citing her urgent trip to Heathrow to collect her Ring Light. When Fi comments admiringly on Felicity’s charm, Anne reveals her secret stash – a Bluetooth tracker sewn into Darius Flynn’s (Jack Veal) jacket, sparking a lively debate on the merits and ethics of microchipping children.

Felicity arrives to supervise the children, enabling Amanda’s date night. She offers Amanda some dating advice: keep her parenthood a secret and inspect his index finger for telltale wedding ring indentations. As Johannes (Peter Serafinowicz) whisks Amanda away to Double Shin, Anne unexpectedly disrupts Darius’ and Georgie Hughes’s (Miley Locke) date.

During their evening, Johannes notices Amanda’s scrutinizing gaze at his ring finger. Smiling, he obligingly displays it, reassuring her that he is very much unmarried. Moments later, they find themselves lost in a passionate kiss in his car outside Amanda’s apartment. Their intimate moment is twice interrupted – first by Felicity’s peek through the window, and then by an anxious call from Anne, querying Amanda’s whereabouts as she should be ensuring Darius safely escorts Georgie home. Amanda, though present in body, remains firmly focused on maintaining the secrecy of her illicit rendezvous.

Amanda regales Felicity with tales of her recent date, and Felicity responds enthusiastically, asserting that sex should not diminish with age. When Felicity requests to use Amanda's bathroom, Amanda, inexplicably, peers beneath the bed and discovers a set of men's pajamas.

The next morning, amidst football practice, Felicity informs Amanda that her mother has canceled brunch due to an appointment with a chiropractor. Amanda reveals her own plans to visit the Victoria and Albert Museum, prompting Felicity to commend her active love life. Amanda, while agreeing, expresses confusion about why she's keeping her relationship a secret, sparking a conversation about her boyfriend. Amanda beams about how well things are going and her upcoming visit to his penthouse.

Elsewhere, Johannes shows Amanda his balcony when Anne abruptly interjects Darius and Georgie's date, once again, to introduce Georgie to the family via video call. Meanwhile, Amanda's date takes a turn for the worse due to the incessant noise from air conditioning units, ultimately leading to Georgie breaking up with Darius. When Amanda confides in Johannes about Felicity, he warns her of her justified concerns, recounting how his mother was twice deceived in online romances. Their date is again cut short by Anne, who seeks to discuss the breakup. Amanda curtly thanks her for the update and ends the call.

Returning home later, Amanda finds Morten Fry in Georgie's room. She quizzes Georgie about ignoring her calls, to which Georgie responds that Anne's relentless phone calls prevented her from answering. Amanda later shares the breakup news with Felicity and inquires about her back, leading Felicity to vow never to sleep on a sofa bed again. This prompts Amanda to slyly plant a tracker in Felicity's purse.

The following morning, Mal assists Anne in realizing her role in the breakup after she unloading her actions towards Georgie. This heart-to-heart also prompts Mal to confess his intentions to end things with Clacy, deeming her too young for him.

After bidding farewell to the children and Felicity, Amanda calls Daniel Kichen to inform him of her absence from work. She then tails Felicity to a nursing home. While trailing her, Johannes calls, and Amanda decides to end things with him. At the nursing home, Amanda discovers that Felicity is visiting her father, Nigel. Upon returning home, Amanda and Felicity find that Darius has moved on with another girl, whom Anne treats similarly to how she treated Georgie.

The episode concludes with Amanda reconnecting with Johannes after Felicity wisely remarks that romantic prospects diminish with age.
