Episode 4 of "Bait" commences with Yasmin celebrating Eid at her regular haunt. Shah makes an appearance, initially pretending it's a mere coincidence. However, she sees through his act and he confronts her directly about her article. It's revealed that they were once a couple, and he believes the article is her revenge for breaking up with him. He creates a scene, and the crowd starts recording their interaction. Yasmin attempts to leave but is met with paparazzi outside. Shah follows her as she tries to find the staff exit, all the while being in awe that he has attracted such attention. They argue their way out, drawing in strangers to their disagreement.

We learn that Yasmin had wanted to take a break, but Shah misunderstood it as a breakup. He ended up attending Yasmin's documentary premiere with his co-star, whom he had kissed, which upset her, and that was the end of their relationship. Suddenly, Yasmin realizes she has forgotten her bag in the restaurant, and someone has stolen it, judging by the lack of connection with her AirPods. Her passport is inside, and she has a flight to Argentina the next day for her documentary, which has finally received funding. Shah is happy for her and insists on helping. But since there are no taxis around, he suggests a neon-lit rickshaw. Yasmin is amused but indulges him.
As they follow her AirPods, she asks about his family, and he responds self-deprecatingly. The driver is playing music, and one of the songs is an inside joke between the exes, causing them to laugh. They arrive at a rave club and, for a moment, Shah sees the severed pig's head.
Inside, they have to apply UV paint to be allowed entry and share a fleeting moment before resuming their bickering. But this time, there's no bite to it. As they search for her bag, they keep glancing at each other and dancing. Someone bumps into Shah, and once again, he panics, seeing the pig, his argument with Zulfi, and his mother slapping him.
He rushes to the washroom, eager to splash some water on his face. There, in the trash can, he discovers Yasmin's bag and is thrilled. But when he opens it, he's shocked and upset to find two passports—one belonging to a white man named Oliver. Initially, Shah tries to pretend like he hasn't found it, but Yasmin sees right through him and grabs the bag from him before leaving.
He follows her out and finally reveals that he sought her out because he misses her. He also calls out her double standards of moving to a different country for a white man but not giving him the same grace. He keeps pushing her, asking if it's really over between them. She finally confesses that she has cold feet and is running around with him aimlessly instead of being with Oliver on her last night. However, she claims that Oliver is reliable and there for her, which Shah has never been.
Shah is speechless at first, then ends up saying that by fighting everyone and being a nobody, he doesn't know who he is anymore. She realizes that he's spouting dialogue from the Bond audition. He insists that's how he feels at the moment and begs her not to go. She fondly calls him insane as she hugs him and leaves. He's teary-eyed as he watches her walk away.
