In the fourth episode of Delhi Crime Season 2, following Vartika's assertion of the tribals' innocence, the Commissioner of Police, Vijay, is consumed with fury. She rationalizes with him, imploring for more time to unravel the case, promising to do so promptly. He informs her that she has little time at her disposal and she hurls towards the police station with haste.

At the station, Jairaj reveals that they have a lead on the jewelry stolen from the initial victims. Vartika posits that the victims chosen by the criminals are not random but definitely have a connection with each other. They discuss the urgency to find that link, with Bhupendra suggesting that they must act swiftly as the news has likely alerted the criminals already.
Neeti delves into the call logs of the victims and discovers a common thread—the female victims were regular customers at a beauty parlor. Neeti delves deeper into their investigation, learning that the women were regular customers of a former employee named Karishma. The culprit, Karishma, is seen gazing at a property in a newly constructed building, imagining opening a beauty parlor there.
Sudeep and Jairaj visit the jewelry shop and discover that the stolen jewelry was sold to them by an elderly woman in her seventies. They use CCTV footage to identify the woman and take her photograph, inquiring among other jewelry shops if more stolen items were sold by her. A further shop reveals that the lady had sold more stolen items there. The cops ask the shop owners about the woman who reveals that she took an auto rickshaw to Jangpura. This gives Jairaj and Sudeep a lead in tracking down the culprits.
Meanwhile, Guddu, one of the four thieves, arrives at their hideout with the money procured from the stolen jewelry.
Their leader vows that the next heist will be their last endeavor, as they plan to divide the loot among all four of them. Neeti joins Jairaj and Sudeep on their mission to snoop around medical stores, inquiring about the woman's whereabouts. A helpful medical shop reveals the woman's address: Saraswati, along with her grandson, Guddu.
As the cops arrive at Saraswati and Guddu's humble abode, the elderly woman spits at them and hides within her room, bolting the door shut. The cops manage to break in and successfully arrest her, while Karishma and the thieves watch the news as Vartika's statement airs. They argue among themselves, with Karishma enticing them into committing the crime once again.
At the station, Neeti struggles to interrogate Saraswati, but Cyber Cell's Asutosh ultimately retrieves the old lady's phone number from her call logs. Neeti informs Vartika that Guddu is none other than Pawan Gulati, and she updates Chief Vijay on this information. Vartika engages in a heated conversation with Saraswati, managing to rattle the old woman by revealing that Guddu has murdered eight senior citizens.
Thermal pleads with his uncle, Babloo, to abandon Karishma as the next case promises to be too risky. However, as Karishma inquires about their previous conversation, Babloo changes the subject. The cops track Guddu's live location and arrive at a garage where he works. They manage to arrest him just in time, though not before he aims a pistol at Bhupendra and shoots him through his bulletproof vest. Bhupendra is rushed to the hospital, and Vartika is visibly worried.
The other three culprits await Guddu's arrival but decide to initiate the robbery between Babloo and Karishma while Thermal keeps watch in the car. The pair enters a house belonging to an elderly couple, but the man spots them both, pretending not to notice. He immediately calls the cops.
