Episode 16 of "Dragon Ball Daima" kicks off with Goku and his compatriots convening for a strategic session. Piccolo and Shin passionately advocate for the rescue of Dende, prompting our brave heroes to embark on a perilous journey to Gomah's Castle. Along the way, they encounter a roadblock imposed by the Gendarmerie Force. Vegeta, displaying his combat prowess, vanquishes three members of the force with ease.
The leader of the Gendarmerie Force, Kadem, steps forward to confront Vegeta. After Vegeta launches an attack on Kadem, the latter rallies his remaining troops. Kadem calls upon his men to unite their strength and forge a devastating attack, but fate has other plans. Our heroes manage to overpower and capture the Gendarmerie Force.
With the obstacle cleared, Goku and his companions venture into Gomah's Castle. Elsewhere within the castle's labyrinthine halls, a mysterious woman who has stolen the Oculus from Hybis roams, seeking information about Degesu's whereabouts from indifferent Gendarmerie soldiers.
As Goku and his friends confront another door, Bulma expresses her concern about their visibility as a large group. Goku proposes a plan: they should split up. He, Piccolo, Vegeta, and Shin will focus on finding Dende, while Bulma, Glorio, Panzy, and Hybis proceed in another direction with Kaden's captured group.
As Goku's team advances, Panzy decides to abandon Kaden's group to join Goku's. Meanwhile, Degesu peers out of a window and spots something that alarms him. In a panic, he abducts Dende and flees. Simultaneously, Goku senses Dende's ki, prompting Vegeta, Shin, and Piccolo to follow him.
Panzy notices Goku's group and decides to trail them. Degesu attempts to escape via a Gendarmerie plane, but Goku's team tracks him down. With a gun aimed at Dende's head, Degesu warns our heroes to stay back. He reveals his ambition to Shin: to ascend to the throne of the Demon Realm, arguing that all Glinds aspire to higher positions of power.
Meanwhile, Gomah, perched in his accustomed vantage point, surveys the unfolding confrontation between Goku's group and Degesu with keen interest. Doubts creep into his mind as he ponders whether Degesu intends to desert him in this hour of crisis. Panzy, attempting to intervene and halt Degesu's actions, finds herself powerless to stop him. Suddenly, Glorio hurls Hybis's hat at Degesu, who, in retaliation, hurls Dende towards Panzy, who swiftly catches him. Piccolo steps in, delivering a decisive blow that knocks Degesu unconscious. At this juncture, Glorio and Hybis step out of the shadows, revealing themselves to Goku and his companions. Simultaneously, Gomah mocks Degesu's downfall with a maniacal laugh.
The woman Degesu had hired to retrieve the Oculus appears on the scene, handing over the artifact to Gomah. Degesu is subsequently apprehended and taken away by authorities. Glorio advises Goku's group to confront Tamagami Number One (One) first, secure their wish, and only then turn their attention to Gomah. Following this counsel, Goku and Kaden's group encounter One, who reveals that someone has laid claim to his Dragon Ball.
Meanwhile, Arinsu, Kuu, and Duu make their entrance, introducing themselves to the heroes and revealing that they possess One's Dragon Ball. Simultaneously, Gomah reaches out and plucks the Oculus from Hybis's belt. He then bribes the woman Degesu had hired, instructing her to place the Oculus upon his forehead. However, the woman flees in terror as Gomah begins his sinister transformation.
The episode concludes with an intimate close-up of Gomah's face, his eyes gleaming with malevolent intent, setting the stage for the climax to come.
