In the sixth episode of "Filing for Love," I-na escorts Ki-jun home, only to discover that he shares a residence with his ex, A-jeong. The following morning, I-na plays a game of cat and mouse with Ki-jun in the elevator, all the while pretending that he has no memory of the drunken night she got him home.

Meanwhile, I-na enlists Ki-jun's help in firing Mr. Do, who has cost them considerable losses. As she tries to gauge his well-being, he questions why she's not taking a day off, given her recent turmoil. She brushes it off, claiming that nothing phases her.
We're then introduced to top model PK, who abruptly leaves a shoot to meet his secret lover. Unfortunately, a stalker captures pictures of them together in the car. PK chases after the culprit and ends up in an accident.
The fallout from the scandal forces PK to pay fines to his sponsors, including Haemu. Instead, Ki-jun meets with his other ex, who works in the marketing team, and learns that the company isn't cutting ties with PK. He finds this odd and asks for an investigation. I-na agrees but urges him to review all contracts with models to ensure impartiality.
Ha-young and Da-ye, both secret fans of PK, are disappointed by the news. Elsewhere, Jae-yeol struggles to control his alcoholic wife, who continually mocks him by reminding him of his mother's mental health issues.
With a mountain of paperwork to tackle, Ki-jun decides to work overtime. On his way to get dinner, he runs into A-jeong, who reveals the truth about how he got home that night. He's shocked that she told I-na everything.
I-na joins Ki-jun to help him through the documents faster. He tries to explain his relationship with A-jeong, but she stops him and clarifies that she's not interested in his personal life. He asks again why she's pushing him away, and she claims it's not because there's another man in her life. She reminds him that her personal life is her business. He disagrees, saying it depends on the man she's dating. Seeing things getting heated, she switches the topic back to work.
As they work together, they secretly steal glances at each other and smile. Their hard work pays off when they link PK to Ji-won, the team leader of the marketing group. I-na discovers a post that PK shared during his trip to Osaka, which also coincides with Ji-won's accidental use of the company trip at a convenience store in Osaka.
They bring in Ji-won and confront her until she blatantly admits that she and PK are lovers. However, something feels off, and Ji-hye shares her suspicions with Ki-jun and I-na. She believes that Ji-won isn't PK's type. She's also disappointed in him and throws away all his merchandise.
Ki-jun and I-na delve deeper into the investigation and wonder how Ji-won has time for an affair. She's a mother of three boys and seems happily married. They pivot their investigation to rumors about the woman PK was with during the accident.
With Ji-hye's invaluable assistance, Ki-jun devises a meeting with the elusive stalker who had captured PK's photographs that fateful day. The man, mistakenly identifying Ki-jun as a Sesan group employee, pleads for mercy, claiming that he had indeed handed over all the photos in his possession. Ki-jun is taken aback by the man's visibly frightened demeanor.
At the hotel, we revisit the reason behind Ji-won's visit to PK's hotel room. It emerges that he is secretly involved with Jae-yeol's wife, the heir to the Sesan group. They coerce Ji-won into taking the blame and pretending that he was the one dating PK.
In the meantime, Ji-hye and Da-young bond over their shared disappointment in PK and decide to indulge in a heartwarming feast of tteokbokki together.
Over the weekend, I-na catches up with Ji-won as she's taking her sons to play soccer. She joins in the fun and eventually convinces Ji-won to confide in her. It turns out that Ji-won's husband works for the Sesan group.
Jae-yeol's wife is plotting to send him and their family abroad once everything settles down. Ji-won feels hurt, disappointed, and scared that her years of hard work have been reduced to an affair with a model. I-na offers to lend a helping hand.
The following week, Ki-jun presents the findings of the case to the executives. Despite Sung-yeol's objections, he insists on keeping Ji-won's identity hidden.
Suddenly, the door bursts open, and Hyun-young, Jae-yeol's wife, storms in looking for I-na. She physically attacks her, demanding to know why she dared to fire PK. Everyone is taken aback as Jae-yeol steps in and abruptly ends the meeting.
A-jeong plays loud music as he and his wife argue in his office. This time, Jae-yeol warns her that she has gone too far and orders her to leave the country for an extended period.
Meanwhile, Ki-jun tenderly tends to I-na's wounds, including those she received while playing soccer with Ji-won's sons. She is about to reveal the true reason behind her distance when a group of workers storm the conference room they are in. I-na abruptly leaves, and Ki-jun tries to follow her.
He sees Sung-yeol checking on her and heads back to the office. A-jeong summons Ki-jun to sign an NDA. She makes a comment on how Jae-yeol is hiding a lot of pain.
Ki-jun asks if that is why she fell for him, and A-jeong is shocked that he has feelings for her. In turn, she asks about what is going on with I-na. Ki-jun realizes that he doesn't know either and rushes to ask I-na himself.
He gets to the office and learns that she has taken the rest of the day off. He asks Doo-gi for the rest of the day off as well and drives to I-na's place. There, he spots her getting into Sung-yeol's car and feels a pang of jealousy. He follows them to a hotel, imagining the worst. All this while, I-na doesn't take any of his calls.
At the hotel, he is about to confront Sung-yeol and I-na when he realizes they are there for an executive retreat. He feels ashamed when all the executives come out for a lunch break and lies that he had something urgent to tell I-na. The executives praise his work ethic and invite him to stay for lunch.
He and I-na have lunch together, and he lies that the important thing has been resolved. He also insinuates that their lunch is a date. He asks her to continue answering why she is pushing him away, and she lies that she has forgotten.
Later, they stroll along the beach, and he continues to break the formality with her. He also keeps flirting with her, and I-na tries to make him stop. He admits that he likes her and that he is going crazy for her. She is flustered and keeps blushing as she runs away. In the evening, they end up playing a game with a claw machine to win a plushie. As much as they try, they never get the plushie. I-na explains that the game is rigged, and that's how she feels about the possibility of their relationship. At the end of the day, no matter how they try, they won't work. She also says that he is confused about his feelings for her. She doesn't want his pity or concern, and he questions whether all these feelings are part of loving someone.
Ki-jun remains behind to get the plushie while I-na returns to the hotel. Jae-yeol tries to comfort her, but she pulls away. He grabs her in a hug, and she keeps pushing back, asking him to let go.
Ki-jun intervenes and pushes Jae-yeol off her. He proceeds to show her the plushie he won and claims that with effort, things work out. I-na just stares at him in shock.
