The third episode of "Finding Her Edge" begins with the characters waking up the next morning, trying to be upbeat despite their hangovers. There's the usual squabble over bathroom time, but Adriana is the only one who isn't chirpy. She's convinced that Brayden broke his promise and slept with Elise again. At breakfast, she gets snarky with Elise, and Will interrupts to inform Elise that she's due to start her physiotherapy, while Adriana is set to start her training with Camille. Elise is not thrilled by the news.
Meanwhile, Freddie is also feeling frustrated and goes for a run. He ends up being a bit late for his training. Riley talks to him about the fight from the previous night and makes him promise that being back at the Russo rink won't change him.

Elise meets Madison, her physiotherapist, who was a former football protégé forced into early retirement after an injury. She understands what Elise is going through and recommends continuing to practice, but nothing too strenuous. The recommendation comes as a surprise to Elise, who was expecting to take more resting time.
In Camille's office, Brayden is late for the first meeting. Camille suggests using the previous routine that Adriana's mom created for her and Freddie. Adriana thinks it will be a cool homage to her mom, but Brayden doesn't want any "sloppy seconds." He believes he's better than Freddie and needs a routine that shows that. Camille promises to alter the routine to highlight each of their strengths, but Brayden refuses to compromise. Adriana brings up his visit to Elise's room the previous night before storming off. Camille asks Brayden to try to be more understanding of Adriana's situation.
Frustrated, Adriana vents to Freddie and tells him about reusing their old routine for the qualifiers. Since the routine was never professionally performed, they can use it. The conversation between these two friends adds depth to their relationship and shows how they support each other through tough times.
Back at the party, Adriana's debut performance had everyone's attention. However, when it was Elise's turn, she was hit with a wave of anxiety. Adriana, a true friend, rushed to her side to offer comfort and reassurance. The two quickly made up and admitted that they were both scared.
On the other hand, Will promised to help Elise overcome her fear of the ice, seeing it as just a minor setback on her road to recovery. However, another problem arose when Maria switched up her costume and performed an alternative dance routine. Maria's performance effectively eliminated any chance of Michael investing in the Russo rinks.
Later, the girls returned home, and Elise let her guard down a bit. For the first time, she praised Adriana and Maria's skating skills and apologized for her recent rude behavior.
Adriana received a text from Brayden, asking her to join him at the dancing studio. He was eager to show her that he had been working on her mother's routine and asked her to trust him. She brought up Elise, and he clarified that he had only talked to her about ending their fling. He promised that he was focused on winning the world championships and wouldn't let her down. Adriana believed him, and they started practicing. He blindfolded her as a trust test, and they ended up dancing much better after establishing trust.
The following morning, Will lashed out at Maria, saying she had ruined their chances of getting sponsorship from Michael and that they might lose the house. The girls quickly came to her defense, and Elise lost her cool. She demanded to know the truth about their financial situation and called him out for running the rink into bankruptcy and hiding it from her and Maria. Elise was offended that Adriana had known the truth before her.
Will insisted that they would be fine, but Elise was tired of hearing that. She called him out for how he had been treating Adriana and left for Weston's place. As it turned out, the whole team had been eavesdropping on their argument.
